FURIA eliminate Outsiders after sweep at IEM Cologne
Are FURIA finding form?
FURIA has recently had some shaky performances, but today's was anything but that. The Brazilians eliminated the Outsiders in two convincing maps.
FURIA got off to a great start in the series as they stole away the Outsiders' pick of Inferno. The Brazilians got off to rocky starts in both halves, but some hard work made way for some fantastic recoveries, and FURIA took the first map at 16-13 after a close fight.
The Outsiders played a semi-decent defensive side on the second map of Overpass as they amassed seven rounds, but as soon as they switched sides, the CIS squad was done for. Led by 'yuurih' the Brazilians put up a stellar defense that only faltered in a single round.
With this dominating win, FURIA survived at IEM Cologne, while the Outsiders had to pack up their stuff.
