FURIA ease past G2 at ESL Pro League Playoffs
The Brazilians should only use one and a half hour to take down G2.
There wasn’t much excitement and close rounds when the Brazilians Panthers from FURIA took upon G2 in the second round of playoffs at ESL Pro League. The dominant South Americans did not give G2 any chance for further advancement at the $750.000 event, as they steamrolled over NiKo and company on Vertigo (16-5) and Mirage (16-10).
An astounding display by Yuri “yuurih” Santos on Vertigo where the Brazilian rifler led FURIA to a very confident victory, through a stellar 1.84 Rating and 123.9 ADR performance. The supremacy didn’t stop on G2’s map pick on Mirage, quite the contrary, in fact, owing to arT and KSCERATO’s heroics.
With the win FURIA advance to the quarterfinals where they will meet either Astralis or Gambit, while G2 is being eliminated from the event.
