ESIC: Stream sniping has been taking place on an alarmingly regular basis
The Esport Integrity Commission has announced a zero-tolerance policy towards Stream sniping in the future.
A very interesting clip emerged from the match between MIBR and OG yesterday at Flashpoint 2.
During a technical pause, it was clear, that the Brazilian team had the broadcast of the match shown on a monitor in the room allowing the players during the pause to watch and/or hear the broadcast.
In the future, this will be considered as cheating, the Esport Integrity Commission announced this morning.
ESIC furthermore recommends that "additional measures should be taken to mitigate the ongoing threat to competitive gaming". You can see all the recommendations in the tweet.
