Entropiq advance to Legend Stage after Heroic meltdown
cadiaN and the rest of Heroic couldn’t lock down the series, despite going up 1-0 on Ancient.
The third qualifier for the Legends Stage has been found at the PGL Stockholm Major, with Entropiq’s 2-1 win over the Danes from Heroic. The result means that the Russian side will join the likes of Copenhagen Flames and FaZe, who booked their spot yesterday.
In today’s bo3 matchup between Heroic and Entropiq, it was the Danes who took control and started the match on top, despite being on Entropiq’s map pick of Ancient. The great start was followed up by a stellar T-side from cadiaN’s troops, where we saw the captain himself post a 12-5 K-D / 1.76 Rating scoreline, which resulted in a 16-10 win.
The fact that Heroic took first blood and went up 1-0, seemed to mean nothing for Entropiq. Because in the next two maps, the #19 team in the world showed impeccable character and managed to set up a stellar resweep on Nuke (16-14) and Mirage (16-4). Entropiq now enters the Legends Stage, while Heroic must try again tomorrow to secure a ticket for the next stage.
