El1an on Entropiq benching: Maybe they should have done it earlier
The Russian AWPer is not surprised that it ended up with the two parties splitting up.
Aleksey “El1an” Gusev was once one of CIS’ most promising players with the Russian AWPer showcasing impressive Counter-Strike for Winstrike and later on Entropiq. However, his time at Entropiq seems to have come to an end as the Czech organization has decided to place him on the transfer list after a mutual agreement.
El1an in 2021 vs in 2022
Last year: 1.20 Rating / 80.6 ADR / 1.25 Impact rating / 0.75 kills per round
This year: 1.04 Rating / 69.8 ADR / 1.00 Impact rating / 0.67 kills per round
As the above-mentioned statistics clearly show, El1an has been nowhere near his previous top level from 2021. The 23-year-old AWPer was therefore not surprised about the outcome, he explains in a Twitlonger.
There is no surprise here. Perhaps it should have been done earlier. Even before Melbourne, right after the PMP qualifier, I wrote to my guys that after Australia I would leave. Therefore, everyone understood everything perfectly, it was only necessary to wait for the announcement. What are the reasons for my decline? Yes, banal uncertainty, for the last half a year or a year, as if I didn’t play at all. I didn’t recognize myself, thoughts interfered, because of this I made weak decisions in the game, and therefore everything only twisted more strongly.
I think everyone will benefit from my departure, maybe the boys will upgrade and start playing better with freshness. I hug them and hope everything goes well for them. I will also return to the previous level, and not only return, but grow.
I'll be back stronger than I've ever been, El1an concluded the statement.
Young Ukrainian takes over
Entropiq announced that Dmitriy "SENSEi" Shvorak will stand in for the team at the upcoming ESL Challenger Rotterdam Closed Qualifier. Whether the former Akuma AWPer is set to make a permanent transfer going forward, is still yet to be confirmed by the Czech organization.
