El1an and company looked to kick off the series on a strong foot with their Overpass pick, but what seemed like an easy going turned into a tricky map that took all 30 rounds to find the winner. FURIA won their CT pistol and converted to go 3-0 up before Entropiq grabbed themselves two rounds with full buys. From a 3-2 scoreline, the Brazilians powered to a 9-6 CT-side half, with their coach Nicholas “guerri” Nogueira having an exceptional game. Entropiq climbed back into contention early on in the second half and continued to shut down FURIA’s offense until they reached match point at 15-11. From there, FURIA managed to grab themselves three rounds in a row and needed just one more to force overtime. But unfortunately for FURIA, Entropiq kept their composure and denied them a comeback, closing out the map 16-14.
Entropiq wrapped up the series on FURIA’s map pick of Ancient, where the Brazilians couldn’t find space on the offense, resulting in a horrible first half for them. El1an and company remained in control from the beginning of the half to the end, completely shutting down FURIA’s T-side to end the half 12-3. FURIA grabbed four rounds early on in the second half, but when Entropiq got their 14th round on the scoreboard, all hope appeared to be lost for the Brazilians. However, FURIA tightened things up and immediately clawed their way back into the game, with KSCERATO doing everything in his power to inspire a comeback. The Brazilians lowered their deficit to just one round at 13-14, but got their comeback attempt denied in the very end as Entropiq closed out the map 13-16.
