REZ: I want to be among the top 20 players in the world
NIP’s strong rifler believes he’s “closing in on his peak” and that he has the abilities to break into the very elite of CS:GO.
The iconic Swedes from Ninjas in Pyjamas has in 2021 experienced a major overhaul, with the organization presenting a big rebrand in January which meant a farewell to the historical logo, followed by the signing of Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz, the only non-Swede on the roster.
The only constant in the continuous modernised organization seems to be Fredrik “REZ” Sterner. The 23-year-old Swede has been with NIP through thick and thin since 2017, where REZ has developed into a superstar rifler at the very top of Counter-Strike.

We got the chance to sit down with REZ before BLAST Premier Spring Final, to talk about his individual goals and how he believes that he can break into the top 20 players in the world if he “keeps his hunger and consistency”.
REZ, the longest-standing NIP member, also touched dev1ce and how he sees the Dane as a crucial signing for NIP to reach the very top and win tournaments. You can watch the interview with REZ down below.
dev1ce, REZ and the rest of NIP has this year shown glimpses of their insane top-level and the newly arranged top team has from time to time presented impressive victories against strong teams like Heroic, BIG, and G2. Their 2nd at Flashpoint 3 and 3-4rd place in ESL Pro League Season 13 is also a great indication of an exciting future for the Swedish team.
