Potential Overpass update incoming
Valve has released a new patch, which could include an update on Overpass
Valve has released a small patch that contains some references in the code which may indicate a potential makeover of Overpass.
The bomb defusal map which came to CSGO in 2013 in a Winter Offensive update along with the map Cobblestone is a map that is commonly used on the competitive scene. Yesterday the map was chosen by NIP in their 2-0 victory against FaZe.
The update will mainly be focused on visuals, where the patch could affect for example the walls, fences, ceiling, bricks, and floors around the map.
As many of the maps, Overpass have had quite a few updates with the latest being:
New collision model on dumpsters found around the map.
Fixed pixel boost #151 in water by b site.
Revised world lighting.
Reworked bombsite A backdrop.
