Patrick "es3tag" Hansen is now a Swedish Ninja
The 25-year-old Dane will be reunited with his former teammate Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz at NIP.
Today, Patrick "es3tag" Hansen has been announced as a new member of the Ninjas in Pyjamas roster. The former Complexity, Cloud9 and Astralis player will be a part of NIP’s roster for the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Finals in Copenhagen next week. At Ninjas in Pyjamas, he will replace Linus "LNZ" Holtäng, who has been the fifth member of the roster since IEM Cologne.
The Danish rifler becomes the second Dane at NIP following the same footpath as his old teammate from the Astralis days, Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz.
For Patrick "es3tag" Hansen this marks the fourth roster move within a year and a half. The Danish rifler has been unlucky lately, with Cloud9 and Complexity dissolving their entire roster shortly after his arrival, leaving Patrick "es3tag" Hansen on the transfer list.
Ninjas in Pyjamas makes the switch after a disappointing showing at the PGL Major in Stockholm, where the Swedes were knocked out of the tournament in the Quarter-Finals by G2.
In his debut for the Swedish Ninjas, Patrick "es3tag" Hansen will face his old team Astralis in the opening round of BLAST Premier Fall Finals in Copenhagen next Wednesday.
