NIP-camp rages: The lies put forward by Anonymo are disgraceful
The Swedish org attacks Anonymo for stating false remarks about the Ninjas pressuring them to play a rematch.
This weekend presented one of CS:GO’s most heated controversies in a long time, with the dispute between NIP, Anonymo, Flashpoint, and FACEIT. The Swedes’ claims of severe server issues and packet loss from their match on Friday was upheld by the renowned tournament organizer, which means that the match will be replayed.
A decision, that caused heavy outrage from the majority of the community from other pro players, fans, and experts. The massive criticism and rage were mostly pointed towards NIP and Flashpoint for their handling of the situation.
COO and CGO at NIP, Jonas Gundersen gave late last night, a response to the situation, where he denies the claims of them “pressuring” Anonymo to a replay and that the statements from the Poles are “lies and disgraceful”.
Gundersen and NIP also publicized a timeline over the events from their perspective, to show how they handled and saw the troublesome situation. The NIP timeline gives an insight from the very beginning of the incident with server loss to the communication with both Anonymo and Flashpoint.
Flashpoint haven't announced when the rematch is going to be played or whether the it's going to be the full BO3 or a BO1. Pley.gg will follow the matter closely.
*Update: We have reached out to Anonymo for an answer or comment.
