On Mirage, we saw a peak of what the NA scene can offer as tweiss took down five players of ATK in a 1v5 clutch. Being alone vs five, tweiss played the clutch to perfection. Tweiss takes the duels 1v1 so the duels always are in his favor. 

Despite winning the clutch 1v5, tweiss and co. saw themself lose the next two rounds and lose the map.

Josiah "JoJo" Jimenez from Mythic has already shown one clear effect of the new update in action, despite Operation Riptide only having been out for six hours. In the video below, the 20-year-old North American demonstrates how you can clear multiple angles by only using one flashbang, as he only drops the flashbang, which means it doesn't trigger.

During a match between Mythic and GGPR Esports, the young rifler JoJo managed to get behind enemy lines, as he pushed long on Dust2 on the CT-side. Without any form of awareness and knowledge about his aggressive position, GGPR continues to push towards the A-site. The only problem for the terrorist; JoJo is right behind them.

The second longest-tenured member of the Mythic roster will move on from his aspirations to pursue a more traditional work schedule and finish his college education. Polen’s tenure with Mythic dates all the way back to ECS Season 2, where he and his squad were a part of the NA Development League in August of 2016.

Polen will continue streaming both CS:GO and Valorant for the time being, but notes that his focus will shift to work and studying when 2021 rolls around, and streaming will become something he does for fun, rather than a means of supporting himself.

The team is still unsure about the future and the plans going forward of how they will proceed for the long-term future. Mythic have until the start of ESEA MDL Season 36 on January 18th to decide on a permanent fifth that will fill out the gab Polen has left.

TeamOne edge past Mythic in DreamHack Masters Winter NA through a good showing against Mythic, beating the American team 2-1. The Brazilians closed out the match on Mirage, where Mario “malbsMd” Samayoa stepped up for TeamOne and led his team to a 16-12 score by a 1.43 rating, 22-18 K/D, 91.5 ADR.

TeamOne advance to the Semi-Finals, which will be played on Saturday against the 2nd place in Group A.

Both teams have won 3 out of the last 5 matches, but TeamOne are favorites going into this game with a #22 place on the rankings, while Mythic is worse ranked at #44.
