Niels Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen and Miikka "⁠suNny⁠" Kemppi are the two of the new players in a revitalized Ambush roster. The two Nordic players are flanked by Mikkel "⁠Maze⁠" Sparvath, Joonas "⁠doto⁠" Forss, and Milen "⁠milky⁠" Iliev.

The team will go under the name Ambush By Preasy after a merger between the energy company Preasy and the esports organization Ambush Esports took place recently. The owner of Ambush By Preasy, Michael Hertz is excited about the future of the team.

- I'm impressed by the effort our new lineup has already shown, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for Ambush By Preasy. We have a mix of talent and experienced players, and we will continue to attract the best players to our organization.

The new in-game leader will be the former Fnatic Rising player Mikkel "⁠Maze⁠" Sparvath, who had a very short trial with Sprout recently. The Danish captain is pleased to return to Ambush, where he played both in 2020 and 2021.

- As a leader, I will continue to motivate and inspire the team to do their best, and I am confident that we can achieve great results together, he states in a press announcement.

Joonas “doto” Forss has decided to bench himself on HAVU after a tough individual period for the rifler and a failed attempt to qualify for the upcoming Major in Paris later this year.

The 27-year-old Finn will be replaced by his countryman Jussi “Airax” Airaksinen who is set to help the team temporarily, the organization confirm on Twitter.

If this means a permanent goodbye to HAVU it will be his second time leaving the Finnish organization as he left the team to join ENCE back in 2020.

doto has here in his second stint with the team been the in-game leader and the one calling the shots – however without any significant success. Before deciding to step back from the active roster, doto and HAVU were ranked #50 in the world. Earlier this month, HAVU also announced the departure of Jesse "⁠zehN⁠" Linjala and Jarkko "⁠spargo⁠" Rahja.

The first semifinalist at CCT North Europe Series 2 has been found with HAVU winning their Round-of-8 matchup against forZe this Tuesday afternoon.

The victory was secured through an impressive showing on Nuke and Inferno after the Finns lost the first map on Dust2, where especially the former ENCE rifler Joonas “doto” Forss were playing some strong Counter-Strike. On the deciding map, doto posted a stellar 1.61 rating which led HAVU to a 16-11 win.

This was HAVU’s fifth victory at the $50.000 tournament following their 2-0 beating of Abdul “degster” Gasanov and the rest of OG. In the coming semifinal, HAVU is set to go up against the winner of Astralis vs Astralis.

Pavle "maden" Bošković will be the last member for ENCE’s CS:GO roster going into the 2022 season, the Finnish organization confirm on Twitter. The former FunPlus Phoenix rifler is set to fill out the void after the recent benching of Joonas “doto” Forss.

The confirmation comes after weeks of [link:{"url":"https://pley.gg/news/media-strong-fpx-rifler-will-ences-new-fifth/","isNewTab":true,"text":"rumours "}]sending the 23-year-old towards ENCE to strengthen their team and firepower on the lineup.

Head Coach at ENCE, Eetu “sAw” Saha is very pleased with the signing of maden - A player he already has trained, with the 23-year-old standing in for ENCE back at IEM Winter last year. 

- We are very excited to bring maden into the team! We already had a brief encounter with him at IEM Winter and he left a good first impression. Maden is a social and easy-going guy who gets along well with the team. Also, he brings in a lot of firepower and aggression, which can help elevate our play for the upcoming season! Rolewise, there will be some changes to make maden comfortable and make the team function better, sAw stated.

The proud Finns from ENCE recently benched their very last Finnish roster member, Joonas "doto" Forss, solidifying their status as an international team even more. However, ENCE has reportedly already a replacement ready.

According to the [link:{"url":"https://twitter.com/neLendirekt","isNewTab":true,"text":"neLendirekt"}] and [link:{"url":"https://www.1pv.fr/news/137339-maden-to-join-ence","isNewTab":true,"text":"1pv.cs"}], ENCE have set their sights on Pavle "maden" Bošković from FunPlus Phoenix. The French media outlet state to have sources telling them that the 23-year-old Montenegrin will join the organization for the upcoming 2022 season.

made and the rest of FunPlus Phoenix roster were benched back in November last year after a lacklustre period following the transfer from GODSENT. In the end, the Chinese organization lost faith in the project and decided to depart the CS:GO scene for now.   

The Finnish Organization has taken another step in their new international direction with the benching of their only remaining Finn on the roster. The team announced the change today on Twitter.

Joonas "doto" Forss was part of the initial rebuild of the squad, and has been part of ENCE for 14 months. Before that, he was playing for another Finnish team HAVU.

- If something in esports is certain, it's change. We felt we needed to make some changes to keep us in the fight against the best teams. After carefully assessing the market and what we had in our roster, we felt this change needed to be made, Niklas “Willkey” Ojalainen, General Manager of ENCE states on their website.

There was only one question left to be answered in Group A at ESL Pro League Season 14. Would Astralis or ENCE secure a spot in the playoffs?

ENCE could do the business themselves with a win against Bad News Bears, who were yet to win a single map during the four matches they had played at the tournament. It didn't change today.

It did not take ENCE a long time to take full control of the match. On Overpass they took a commanding 13-2 lead at halftime killing all suspense about the outcome of that map.

Fortunately, we got a much better map on Nuke. Here BNB and especially Michael 'Swisher' Schmid showed some of that talent, that had sent the NA team to Europe to compete. The 22-year-old American kept the Bears in the match dropping incredible 31 kills during the match. But it wasn't enough for BNB, who could see ENCE turn the heat up in the last rounds and secure a spot in the playoffs at ESL Pro League with Joonas 'doto' Forss in the spotlight after a solid performance equaling Swisher's 31 kills.

Competitive Counterstrike is finally back with the ESL Pro League Season 14. With the event having just started we are still waiting to see who advances from the first group of the event. Two teams that need to put at least another victory on the board are ENCE and Team Spirit. As they locked horns it was destined to be an intense battle for survival. Despite the veto, arguably favoring the side of Team Spirit, it was the ENCE roster to prove themselves better on the day. Continuing with confidence after their latest victory against Astralis they managed to secure 3 additional points after beating a disjointed Team Spirit 2-0.

The first map was the pick of ENCE and took place on Nuke. The map is, without any doubt, one of the strongest maps, that is currently in the official map pool, for the ENCE roster. With a win rate of 77% in the past three months on the map, it is clear why ENCE chose Nuke as their map pick. Despite the statistics pointing towards an easy ENCE victory, it was anything but that. With both teams putting up a valid effort, the game kept going back and forth. Trading rounds between the teams it wasn’t until the last stage of the game that one team pulled away. Ending on their CT-side ENCE managed to close out the, otherwise very close, map of Nuke at 16-11 and gain an advantage going into the second map of the series.

The second map of the series was Team Spirit’s map pick. The CIS roster opted for what is arguably their strongest map in their arsenal in Dust 2. With ENCE banning Overpass and Inferno instead of Dust 2 it was clear that ENCE’s strategy wasn’t to punish their opponents in the veto, but instead to protect themselves from their weakest maps in the pool. The strategy seemed to pay off as Team Spirit’s Dust 2 proved to be inadequate against ENCE. After the victory on Nuke, it was a confident ENCE roster to start strongest on Dust 2. With a successful CT-side all ENCE had to do was to finish what they had started. A troubled Team Spirit had to see themselves bested 2-0 as ENCE ultimately closed out Dust 2 at the impressive scoreline of 16-5.

A difficult game to read as ENCE seemed in full control on the first map, then got themselves a big loss on the second map, and then dominating again on the third map.

The first map was played on Vertigo, where ENCE dominated the full game, after the first half ENCE was leading 12-3, as the T side, and the map seemed to be a formality without a chance for a weak HAVU side to make the comeback.

In the second half, ENCE delivered what they needed they won four out of the first eight rounds, which was enough for ENCE to win the first map 16-7.

With HAVU playing so bad in the last couple of months, we would expect ENCE to pick up the win pretty easily, but this didn’t happen at all, we can’t explain what happened to HAVU and ENCE but something changed for both teams on Dust2.

HAVU delivered a clean round in the first half, as they won 15-0 and they looked to be the only team on the map with ENCE playing very bad.

There was no chance for ENCE to come back on the map, and they had already given up a long time ago on the map, and they ended up losing the only round in the second half, making the humiliation real.

HAVU won 16-0 against ENCE on Dust2, where ENCE delivered one of the worst performances of the year as a team.

Something had to change for ENCE, but you couldn’t predict what would happen on the third map.

The last map was to be played on Nuke, where ENCE had something to prove, and they did.

After the first half, ENCE was leading 10-5 and had found themselves again luckily.

The second half was a demonstration of powers by ENCE, who had a lot to prove from the awful second map, they managed to win the second half 6-0, which was enough for them to win the map 16-5.

Therefore, the game ended with an ENCE victory, but with some concerns for the team.

On the 21st of January this year, ENCE revealed their new international roster which will represent the big Finnish organization, in their desire to return to the CS:GO elite. The quartet who joins the veteran AWPer Aleksi “allu” Jalli is led by the Danish in-game leader Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer.

Snappi has in an interview with ENCE opened up about the transfer, with the former Heroic captain explaining that he’s very pleased with his new team, not only the organization but especially his new line up.

The first big task for Snappi and company will be at the prestigious ESL Pro League, which starts next month. The experienced IGL explains how he hopes that his team will be functional and ready, at that point.

“Our goal is to prepare as good as we can for all the maps and be ready to enter the tournament (ESL Pro League). And I think we have progressed really fast also because we put in extra work the two first weeks. I think we got a head start and with one month left we should be able to get things ready. We should be able to show a really good ENCE team at ESL.”

Joonas “doto” Forss plays his first game for the Finnish giants ENCE today. The former HAVU player debuts against maybe the toughest opponent possible in Danes from Astralis.

Even though ENCE lost 16-11 on Dust 2, doto showed some of the things ENCE can expect from his hands. The 24-year old Finn demonstrated stellar trigger discipline, sealing the round for ENCE with killing two Astralis players.

Watch the second map on Inferno and see if ENCE can come back after losing their own map pick.

It's debut time for Joonas "doto" Forss when he and the rest of ENCE face Astralis.

The Danish team is the big favorites coming into the match, but it will interesting to see, what the Finnish team can do against the Danish Powerhouse.

The Finnish team ENCE has had a lot of difficulty with finding the form and success they displayed on the biggest stages in 2019. ENCE attempts to find the missing pieces of the puzzle in the newly signed rifler Joonas "doto" Forss. In addition to doto, ENCE has also acquired Eetu "sAw" Saha as their new coach. The two additions to ENCEs new roster played an important role in HAVU's recent success and is presumably what sparked an interest from ENCE. 

Doto played mostly as an entry-fragger for the Finnish HAVU, whereas sAw was the in-game leader. At ENCE however, doto will presumably occupy the lurker and anchor role, whereas sAw will attempt a completely new role as the coach of ENCE. 

Whether or not these changes will push ENCE in the right direction is yet to be known, but the new roster will have the chance to display their qualities already on November 13, where they face off against the Danish giants of Astralis. The BO3 series is a part of the IEM Beijing-Haidian 2020 event and will start at 15.00 (CET). 

24-year-old HAVU player Joonas “doto” Forss, will take Jani “Aerial” Jussila’s place at the upcoming IEM Beijing-Haidian event, it was revealed on the official website of the tournament.

doto has been the second-best performer for the HAVU team in the last three months and has been playing for the squad since September 2019. It’s still unclear whether doto has signed a permanent deal as neither of the organizations has made it clear.

ENCE announced last month that Aerial was on sick leave and would focus on his well-being. It was reported that the organization was targeting Jesse “zehN”, but it seems like he will stay with his current team GODSENT.
