The Danish star AWPer of Nicolai “device” Reedtz allegedly covered a large share of his own buyout when he was transferred to Ninjas in Pyjamas in a blockbuster signing.
According to Jaxon, device paid a massive sum of around €130.000 in total to join forces with the Swedes from Astralis back in April last year, sources close to the player and team have told the media. A part of the sum is allegedly “sacrificing payment” and some salary and stickers money, Jaxon states in their article.
device has now been a Ninjas in Pyjamas member for more than 500 days, however, his spell at the iconic organization has been anything but successful. Due to mental health issues, the former Astralis AWPer has been sidelined for the entire 2022 season, meaning that he has featured in less than 50 Bo3 matches for NIP since his signing.
Recent reports and rumors paint a picture pointing toward a potential re-transfer to Astralis for device with Jaxon stating that a transfer price has been agreed upon between NIP and the Danish powerhouse.
