device and company win Group B Final 2-0 over BIG
The winners of Group B in BLAST Premier Fall Groups are Ninjas in Pyjamas!
The first map of the series was BIG’s pick of Dust2, where the Germans drew the first blood to the series after closing out the map 16-14. It was BIG’s duo of tiziaN and gade who stole the show and helped the team deny NiP to force the map into overtime with some key plays.
A close affair on Mirage followed. BIG took the pistol on the defensive side only to lose to a force buy from the Swedes, who quickly strung together four rounds in a row. BIG found their footing as soon as their economy started rolling, answering back by grabbing five rounds of their own. The two teams kept trading blows back and forth until BIG took the last round of the half (8-7 in their favor). In the second half, NiP showcased a stellar CT-side performance and closed out the map by stringing together 6 rounds in a row, with device topping the scoreboard.
On the last map of the series, NiP dominated from the beginning on the CT-side and went to halftime with a 13-2 advantage. BIG fought hard and managed to get another three rounds on the scoreboard, but device and company quickly wrapped up the series by closing out the map 16-5.
