dev1ce and NIP left in disbelief after “shitty conditions” at Flashpoint 3
The Swedes has expressed harsh criticism of Flashpoint regarding their handling of NIP's severe server issues.
Yesterday at the prominent Flashpoint 3, NIP took on the lower-ranked Anonymo in the opening round at the vital RMR tournament. A match, which ended up being won by Janusz “snax” Pogorzelski and the rest of the underdogs from Poland.
However, the surprising result may have come from some very uncompetitive and uneven conditions.
Following the 2-1 defeat, CEO at NIP, Hicham Chahine went to Twitter stating that they were being “forced to play through massive loss due to server issues ... the game is unplayable". Severe server problems, Anonymo reportedly didn't had throughout the match.
NIP allegedly played with a 30-40% loss on the server, which is a major reduction concerning the ability and possibility to perform on the server. Something, NIP’s new superstar AWPer Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz also expressed his deepest frustrations about following the match.
Afterwards NIP publicized a longer statement on Twitter, where they present a heavy critique to Flashpoint for their handling of the situation.
- The ignorance, stubbornness, and lack of solutions coming from the Flashpoint staff was simply not to a standard with what is expected from a Major Qualifier event.
