BIG's academy team ready for IESF World Championship
Three teams are alongside the eight teams that will compete for the IESF World Championship.
Eight teams will be battling in a double elimination best of three brackets in Bali for a spot at the best-of-five grand final. The eight teams will be fighting for $50,000 that will go to the eventual winner.
Germany will be represented by the BIG Academy team who will arrive in Bali with s1n and Krimbo on the roster as tiziaN and Aqua will stay at home. BIG Academy (Germany) took down Spain in their first game. Coming forward into the second game the Germans came across Bulgaria who had four Fiend players who back in 2021 peeked at 17 on the HLTV World Ranking list. Losing the first map 16-2, the germans came back to take the last two maps of the match. The Germans then took on the Russian team IESF and won in dominant fashion with a 2-0 victory.
The opening matches for the IESF World Championship 2022 will be played on the 7th of December and looks as follows:
