Akuma dissolve after lackluster performance at IEM Fall CIS
The five Ukrainian players have now officially parted ways with Akuma
With IEM Fall 2021 CIS having reached the playoffs and nearing its end there are many teams who have had to walk away disappointed with their performance and results at the event. One of these teams is undoubtedly Akuma. After losing all five Bo1-series to Entropiq, Team Spirit, Nemiga, Natus Vincere, and AVE they had nothing to show for their efforts at the event.
Besides the disappointment that comes with such a tough run at an event, it was the final nail in the coffin for the Ukrainian roster. 21-year-old Sergey "Sergiz" Atamanchuk announced today on Twitter that Akuma will officially disband. This means that the five players on the roster will all be free agents, waiting for a new home to pursue, hopefully, more successful challenges.
The now-disbanded Akuma roster looked as follows:
Sergey "Sergiz" Atamanchuk
Dmitriy "SENSEi" Shvorak
Alexandr "Psycho" Zlobin
Sergiy "DemQQ" Demchenko
Evgeniy "j3kie" Sergachev
