Threat signs new contract with Ninjas in Pyjamas
The Swedish coach will remain at NiP until 2023.
Ninjas in Pyjamas has announced that the Swedish esports organization has extended Björn “THREAT” Per’s contract with three more years, ending in 2023. He has coached the Swedes since November last year with great success.
“I am super excited to announce that I have signed another three years with NiP. Returning to the coach position at the beginning of the year was a tough decision but I believe that with NiP’s new structure and direction we will be able to finally get Sweden back to the top of CS. I want to thank NiP for this opportunity to continue working with my biggest passion. Says a happy Björn “THREAT” Pers.
Chief Operating Officer Jonas Gundersen is thrilled that a contract extension has been made and believes that THREAT is the man to get NiP back to the top of CS.
“He’s one of the most knowledgeable coaches/IGLs in the history of the game, and embodies the values we treasure at NiP. Our vision of building a modern, top tier esports organisation, is centered around providing the best support, empowerment and performance environment for the top tier talent, both coaches and players, and I fully believe that this combination will be the foundation of championship winning teams at Ninjas in Pyjamas for decades to come.”
