NIP secured a comfortable win against fnatic
REZ played insanely well to lead NIP to victory.
The last match of the day was between NIP and fnatic. NIP secured a win in their opening series of ESL Pro League Season 15 with 2-0.
The action started with fnatic’s map pick of Mirage and got off to a good start taking the 3-0 lead. But from thereon, NIP ran away with things, only conceding two more rounds to take the lead 10-5 before halftime. In the second half, NIP didn’t allow any rounds to fnatic and led to a comfortable 16-5 win for NIP to take the first map of the series.
The series then moved on to NIPs pick of Vertigo, where fnatic starting on the CT-side picked up the first round of the map. They weren't able to turn it into a big lead, as NIP found their right footing and won the next three rounds. REZ propelled his side to a crucial 9-6 victory at the half. Once again, NIP took control in the second half, winning seven rounds in a row to bring an end to the map 16-6 and the series 2-0.
