The second European team to qualify for the Major is Ninjas in Pyjamas!
Due to Double Poney losing their match against Fiend, device and company from NiP secured a spot in the playoffs at IEM Fall and enough RMR points for the Major.
Ninjas in Pyjamas also managed to win the Swedish derby over their rivals from fnatic. The two teams clashed on Nuke, where the Ninjas came out on top with a confident 16-7 victory.
ALEX’s troops from fnatic started strong on the CT side of Nuke, but unfortunately for them, Ninjas in Pyjamas found their footing midway through the first half, ending up with a one round lead at the switch. In the second half everything went wrong for fnatic who couldn’t even manage to get a single round on the scoreboard due to a strong NiP defense. device and company strung together eight consecutive rounds in a row to close out the map confidently.
