“[I’m] really disappointed”: FESSOR sent to the bench
Despite averaging a strong 1.17 rating the last three months, the former Astralis Talent player is set to depart Monte.
Frederik “FESSOR” Sørensen is no longer a part of Monte’s active lineup going forward, the Danish talent revealed this Thursday. FESSOR has been a part of the Ukrainian roster ever since he left Astralis Talent around September last year.
- Sad news is that I got benched from Monte yesterday as well, really disappointed because I felt we had an amazing year (2022), and achieved the goals we expected. We just qualified for ESL Challenger and I really wanted to play it this season. I am thankful for the months we had together, and the memories we made, FESSOR wrote in a Twitlonger.
Fortunately for the 21-year-old rifler, there was also some good news to share in the post. Because it seems like he can come back to the server in two weeks’ time after he revealed that he suffer from a medical illness called “arthritis” earlier this month.
- Happy news, yesterday I got the right diagnosis from a doctor, who changed my medicine as well. He said he hoped I’ll be back in the game in max 2 weeks est. I never had so much pain in my entire life these past weeks, going from hospital to hospital.
FESSOR is open for offers in both Europe and North America, he explains.
