Highlight: REZ with a match-winning 1v4 clutch
Is the Swedish rifler entering his prime?
Fredrik "REZ" Sterner is slowly becoming more and more important for the Swedish Ninjas in Pyjamas. When joining back in 2017 there was no doubt that he had something special about him, however, his lack of experience showed at times. At the age of 23 years old it finally seems as if "REZ" is about to move into his prime, as he keeps posting phenomenal performances besides "device" for NiP. As a matter of fact, he has become such an integral part of the team that the Ninjas have just announced a contract extension with "REZ" of 4 years.
And when looking back at yesterday's match against TeamOne it is clear as to why NiP wants to extend with the 23-year-old rifler. In the dying stages of the second map of the series all NiP needed was one more round in order to close out the series in just two maps. Left alone on the upper bombsite, "REZ" found himself in a seemingly impossible situation against four TeamOne players. However, it wasn't impossible. Isolating his fights and out-aiming his opponents, "REZ" kept calm and collected and finished his impeccable performance on Overpass with style.
