es3tag defy experts and puts in monster performance against Vitality
The Danish AWP’er was pivotal in NIP’s victory on Overpass.
Ninjas in Pyjamas quelled a lot of doubters with a superb first match at the Legends Stage in Antwerp. The Swede's chances at the Major have been downplayed due to the lack of a true AWP’er on the team. Patrick "es3tag" Hansen has been given the responsibility to perform with the “Big Green”, but the lack of impact from the Dane in previous events led the desk at the Major to declare, that es3tag was the worst AWP’er in the entire Legends Stage.
The response was beautiful. es3tag and NIP very quickly established a big lead on Overpass against Team Vitality. The French/Danish roster looked shaky throughout the map that was dominated by NIP and es3tag. The Danish AWP'er did excellently and even won direct duels with ZywOo. The match ended with a very one-sided affair leaving a lot of questions about the Vitality roster, who until now had looked solid at the Major.
Both teams will be back in action later tonight.
