Danish AWPer after lower semi-final victory: We need to keep pushing
NiP’s Nicolai “device” Reedtz spoke with the desk at Flashpoint 3 moments after him and co. secured the victory against BIG.
On Wednesday, NiP managed to edge out BIG at Flashpoint 3 to move on in the lower bracket and set themselves up for a clash against their Scandinavian rivals from Heroic.
Ninjas in Pyjamas’ Danish AWPer spoke with the desk at Flashpoint in a post-match interview, where he commented on his new team’s deep run in their first ever tournament together:
“We are still trying to find our consistency, especially me, I’m not really satisfied with the level I’m putting out,” device sad moments after the match. “I’m happy with the top 4, but we need to keep pushing.”
With Wednesday’s 2-1 victory, device and NiP ensured themselves a better finish than the Dane’s former team and avoided a 5th place decider against Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander’s men from Astralis.
“I’m here for the long-term project. Obviously, the short-term results are great, I think that for this tournament you can count us as the winners, but I know the first time we meet it is going to be a grudge match. I know when the guys are motivated, they really shoot heads so I’m really looking forward to that game,” star-signing device said about surpassing his former team in Flashpoint 3. “It is going to be amazing:”
