Apeks win ESEA Advanced Season 43 Europe
A two-month hiatus and the addition of Michał "MICHU" Müller seem to have paid off.
There were not a lot of things moving in the right direction for Apeks earlier this year. The team brought in Richard "shox" Papillon to strengthen the squad, but instead, the results began to decline. In mid-September, the team went on an extended break to try and solve the issues.
Richard "shox" Papillon was cut from the team, who instead is now trying out different players. One of them has been Michał "MICHU" Müller, who has been playing for Apeks at the ESEA Advanced Season 43 Europe Cup. The Polish rifler took his new teammates all the way to the Grand Finals.
Here Apeks faced Monte. Already before the match, the two teams were guaranteed a spot in ESL Challenger League Season 44. Apeks managed to reverse sweep Monte after going down 2-0 and won the match 3-2. MICHU was the highest-ranked Apeks player in the Grand Final.
It is not known yet, who Apeks are going to play as a permanent fifth.
