Profiled Russian team lose all their players due to several contract disputes
Winstrike is now without a roster, owing to a controversial dispute between the org and the players.
All five players including the coach from the profiled Russian team of Winstrike have terminated their contracts with the organization owing to alleged “constant breaches of contractual obligations”. It’s the head coach Dmitry “hooch” Bogdanov who has put out a statement, explaining the disputed matter.
- “El1an, Lack1, Nickelback, Krad, Forester and I hereby officially announce that today we have unilaterally terminated our contracts with Winstrike due to constant breaches of contractual obligations by the organization.
Starting today, we declare ourselves free agents and will be playing our next matches as ex-Winstrike.
We are making no public comment on this topic at the moment since we would like to handle the situation professionally and cannot and do not want to make the details public.” - hooch states.
The former Winstrike roster was placed at #22 on the current HLTVWorld Ranking, with the Russians presenting impressive victories against strong teams like Cloud9, MIBR, and EXTREMUM. Especially their young AWPer Aleksey "El1an" Gusev has been playing out of this world in 2021, averaging a stellar 1.25 Rating.
