Introducing: hades – The new polish CS:GO hope?
The promising Wisla Krakow player is surely one to watch for the future, which his insane levels in 2021 clearly proves.
One of the most impressive breakthrough players of 2021 so far, must be the former Wisla Krakow player Olek “hades” Miskiewicz. The young AWPer has emerged onto the tier-2-3 scene with a sky-rocking pace and has been a key factor for the Polish team in their strong climb in the world rankings.
Updated 20th of April:
Olek “hades” Miskiewicz
Born: January 1, 2000 (age 21)

Team: Wisla Krakow
Role: AWP
2021 stats:
1.18 Rating / 77.8 ADR / 1.23 K-D Ratio / 1612 Total kills
A strong 2021 for hades
As the main-AWPer on Wisla Krakow, hades have developed into a lethal weapon for the Polish side, which will frighten nearly every direct opponent. The 21-year old player has presented stellar numbers for the entire 2021, with his stats being placed at the very top of CS:GO. In the first part of the year, hades have averaged an astounding 1.18 Rating with a like-wise strong +303 K-D difference.
hades have in recent tournaments out-played strong AWPers like Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný from Sinners and EXTREMUM’s Sean "Gratisfaction" Kaiwai. Two players who both have been at the very elite of CS:GO for some time now. Something, which could imply that hades may be ready to take the next step in his career. That could be on Wisla Krakow, however, it could also be on a proven and experienced Top 30 tea, who’s missing a talented AWPer for the future.
Wisla Krakow has just reached their peak rank at #31 on the world ranking - hades, jedqr, SZPERO, ponczek, and Goofy.
A new beginning of Polish CS:GO
The Polish Counter-Strike scene has always played a huge role in the history of the game, with countless top players and superstars representing the huge European country. And you cannot talk about Polish CS:GO without mentioning the iconic Virtus.pro roster consisting of the likes of NEO, TaZ, Snax, pashaBiceps, and byali.
For years, the dominant Poles ruled the entire CS:GO scene, where they time after time crushed every opponent in their way. However, the glory days of the ‘Golden Five’ and the rest of the superstars are long gone, with the Poles missing a top-tier CS:GO team.
It’s here Wisla Krakow and other Polish teams like AGO, PACT, and Anonymo could come into the picture because they all easily could be part of a new and promising movement within the Polish scene. Wisla Krakow looks like the most dominant team out of the four teams, owing to their insane and youthful firepower in hades, goofy, and jedqr.
