Brazilian superstars create new top team without an org
The highly-hyped O PLANO roster has finally gone official with their new exciting roster.
There has been a lot of talking and waiting, since the news emerged about a new star-studded Brazilian roster, back in January this year. A team, which later on would call themselves O PLANO, “The Plan”. The roster consists of strong and established players like Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe, Henrique "HEN1" Teles, and Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles mixed with some promising youngsters.
The team has in vain looked for an organization to fund them for some months now, where the iconic org in ENVY, at some time were mentioned as a possibility. However, the Brazilians has announced that they will begin their journey towards the PGL Major without an org, as they state “The mystery is over, today we started this independent project”
The team has started its journey towards qualifying for the next Major in Stockholm in October. So far the results have been mixed, but there is still hope for the new roster. We have gathered highlights from the first matches of O PLANO.
The former MIBR roster will unite once again after a rather successful period at the iconic Brazilian team.
Following the statement, the team captain Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe publicized that Alencar "trk" Rossato has been removed from their active roster, owing to Valve’s new regulations concerning 6-man rosters, and the fact that Vinicius "vsm" Moreira is no longer VAC-banned.
- Therefore, we have a new responsibility, to decide who the 5 players will be. As we are a family, making this decision was not easy. Other times they decided to remove the 6th player rule and we chose not to follow this path, because our strength is in the group.
Then, in an act of democracy and humility, we opened a vote and decided to start the championship with “TRK” on the replacement list. This does not mean that we will continue this way until the end of the Major race. We are ready for a replacement anytime we need it.
