ALTERNATE aTTaX has announced two new players to complete their roster for the upcoming 2023 season. Timo "Spiidi" Richter and Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich will be joining the German organization on a permanent deal going forward. 

The 27-year-old rifler Timo "Spiidi" Richter has played for Sprout, cowana, Seed, MOUZ, and now ALTERNATE aTTaX. During his time in Sprout Spiidi helped the team reach new heights on the German CS:GO scene. Despite Spiidi being 27-year-old has the rifle in recent months been playing his best Counter-Strike. The German is currently averaging 1.25 Rating / 1.32 Impact / 89.8 ADR / 0.82 KPR during the past three months playing for cowana. 

Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich is a former ALTERNATE aTTaX but has most recently played for Sprout. The 24-year-old AWPer is looking to regain his form from the 2019-2020 season where he dominated the German scene playing under the ALTERNATE aTTaX banner. slaxz- were a part of the Sprout team that went all the way to the group stages of IEM Rio Major 2022, a historical event for the small organization. While playing for Sprout slaxz- was averaging 1.07 Rating / 1.03 Impact / 69.4 ADR / 0.66 KPR.

Here five days later, a potential transfer of the Romanian star seems closer than ever before with Nexus having confirmed his departure from the team also stating that “you’ll see him VERY SOON in a good team, with insane flicks and AWP shots” on [link:{"url":"https://twitter.com/NexusGamingRo/status/1607396517295566852","isNewTab":true,"text":"Twitter"}].

The Twitter post from Nexus also confirms the farewell of Ersin “ERSIN” Chiriac, Valentin “SEMINTE” Bodea, and coach Cenk “Sunvita” Sevinç.

If the transfer of XELLOW goes through, the 22-year-old will join a very young Sprout squad under the leadership of Ismail “refrezh” Ali, which also consists of XELLOW’s Romanian countryman and former teammate Laurențiu "⁠lauNX⁠" Țârlea.

The German organization Sprout used the summer of 2022 to change their focus from a German to an International lineup. 

Today the last German remaining on the team has left the team to complete the transformation. 24-year-old Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich departure was announced today on Twitter.

The AWPer joined Sprout in January 2021. Before that, he played for ALTERNATE aTTaX. The reason for his departure has not been revealed, but looking purely stats-wise, the difference in his performances against top 20 teams (0.91) vs overall (1.07) has been significant. At the Rio Major, the German AWPer ended up with a poor rating of 0.73.

Sprout is set to participate in IEM Katowice at the start of next year, so they are expected to reveal the new Sniper on the team soon.

The young guns from Sprout are off to an outstanding start at the European RMR after defeating Sprout 19-17 in the opening round of Group B. The win came after an outstanding comeback on Inferno where they at one point were behind 14-5.

The Best-of-1 series was set to take place on Inferno where it quickly became evident which team had prepared the best.

Through a strong T-side, forZe managed to go up 11-4 before the switch as they exposed some of Sprout’s difficulties on their defensive side. The domination continued into the second half with Andrey “Jerry” Mekhryakov’s men going up 14-5.

Sprout managed to step up towards the end of regulation winning multiple rounds and putting an end to forZe’s supremacy. After sending the match to overtime, Sprout also succeded to secure the map win with an impressive 19-17 victory.

With the Bo3-series between Rare Atom and MIBR having been already played today, seeing Rare Atom reach the Semi-finals of ESL Challenger 2022 in Valencia, Spain, there was only one brawl left for the day. To find our fourth team heading into the Semi-final stage of the event, 00NATION took on Sprout in a Bo3-series with a spot at the Semi-finals on the line. On paper, Sprout were the slight favorites going into the battle, however, with Brazilian rosters you never know what to expect. 00NATION never really came alive and a cohesive performance from the Europeans of Sprout meant that it was Sprout to take home the victory in just two maps. The victory against 00NATION sees Sprout earn a spot in the Semi-finals where they are set to lock horns with Movistar Riders tomorrow. 

The first map of the Bo3-series took place on Dust 2 and was picked by the Europeans of Sprout. Whilst it is nowhere near the best performing map for Sprout it is one that they have played plenty of times in the past three months. In addition to that, Dust 2 is also a map that 00NATION have only played twice in the past three months and could therefore have been a punish-pick from the Europeans. No matter the reason for the choice, it proved a great one already at the beginning of Dust 2. Off to a great start was Sprout, who managed to secure a comfortable lead on their T-side. Controlling the pace of the first half it was Sprout to secure an 11-4 lead going into the second half of Dust 2. Once the two rosters had switched sides the story remained the same. With Sprout in the driving seat, it was the Europeans to close out the first map of the series at the comfortable scoreline of 16-8. 

The second map of the series was chosen by 00NATION and saw the Bo3-series continue on Overpass. The Brazilians have proven themselves more than capable on Overpass as of late and were sitting on an impressive 89% win rate in the past three months (9 maps) before locking horns with Sprout today. Despite 00NATIONS' impressive form on Overpass it was Sprout to carry over the momentum from Dust 2 and secure a brilliant start to their CT-sided half. Before the Brazilians managed to win a single round it seemed as if it was already too late. At the impressive scoreline of 12-3, Sprout's efforts on their CT-side put them in pole position to take home the victory on Overpass once the two teams had switched sides. A spectacular comeback was needed for 00NATION to stand the slightest of chances against Sprout, and it never happened. At 16-4, it was the Europeans of Sprout to claim victory on Overpass, defeat 00NATION 2-0, and secure a spot in the Semi-finals of ESL Challenger 2022 in Valencia, Spain.

ESL Pro League Group B started with a matchup between Team Vitality and Sprout with the latter team as the big underdogs.

On Dust2, Vitality kicked off their tournament with an excellent T-side, where the Danish duo of Emil "Magisk" Reif and Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen stole the show with two inspiring performances. It was not until round 11 before Magisk died the first time in a superb half from Vitality, who took an 11-4 lead with them to the break. Vitality won Sprout's map pick in safe style.

While the Danes dominated on Dust2, Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut woke up on Inferno. The French superstar turned the heat up on Sprout, who in turn was much more competitive than on their own map pick. Fritz 'slaxz-' Dietrich was the Sprout player to get things done for the Germans, who in the end forced the match to overtime. It was Rasmus "raalz" Steensborg who made it possible with a nice clutch, and in the overtime, he made it even better with a beautiful 1vs4 clutch.

Despite the effort from raalz and the rest of the Sprout team, it was Team Vitality who came out as winners with a 22-20 win. A solid start from the French/Danes who are now 1-0 up in the Group Stage at ESL Pro League.

The Berlin-based eSport organization Sprout have announced the finishing touch to their 2022 CS:GO roster. After having sported an all-German roster for many years they have decided to go the international route for the upcoming year of challenges. The newest addition to the new-look Sprout roster has just now been confirmed to be the 18-year-old talent from Luxembourg by the name of Max "Marix" Kugener. 

At the age of just 18 years old, he is ready to prove himself on bigger stages than he has experienced ever before. Despite being from Luxembourg, "Marix" has confirmed a move to Germany so that the roster can continue to participate in the German leagues. In regards to his signing with Sprout the newly signed talent expressed the following:

20-year-old Kamil "⁠KEi⁠" Pietkun has said his goodbyes to his now-former teammates on Sprout, after expressing his desire to join a new project in his home country Poland.

The roster changes for Sprout come after a successful end to 2021, where the German Organization qualified for the upcoming ESL Pro League Conference League with a win at ESEA Premier Season 39.

Sprout is favorites as they met forZe, both teams have things to prove to their fans after they both lost their last two matches.

The newly acquired German slaxz- has been in great form, and will be a player to keep an eye on in the game.

Sinners are small favorites in the match against Dignitas as they have been in great form in the last couple of games, but the game is difficult to predict because the teams are so evenly matched.

Their will be two players with a key role for Sinners in the game, it´s the duo NEOFRAG and the new member of the team oskar, the two have been consistently playing on a high level lately.

It will be a German and French roster at the playoffs at Fantasyexpo Spring Cup.

Sprout follows DBL Poney to the semifinals after a win against PACT. The two teams repeated their opening match at the tournament by picking the same map as the decider.

On Dust2 Sprout was once again too strong for the Polish roster. Again it was a strong CT-side that laid the building stones for the Germans, who could enjoy watching Fritz "slaxz" Dietrich in action. The AWP'er caused havoc with his sniper rifle and was a very important key to opening up the rounds.

PACT came close in the end but lost their chance of advancement with a 16-12 defeat. The Poles are now eliminated together with tournament favorites from mousesports. Sprout will play in the playoffs on Thursday.

In the swiss round 3 of the $68.000 tournament, teams with a 0-2 record are set to face each other in an elimination match.

In the first game of the day, Sprout took down GamerLegion and managed to survive in the tournament, bouncing back from a loss on the opener of Mirage that fell in the hands of their opponent. Sprout kept fighting and pulled the reverse card on their own map pick of Nuke to take the game to the decider which saw the German-side come out on top.

Even though the Swedish duo from GamerLegion performed well on the first two maps, it wasn’t enough to push their team in the closing rounds to survive.

Sprout has secured a spot in the UNITED Pro Series Winter 2020 Grand Final after defeating kRYSTAL and company 2-1 on Dust2 (16-6) and Inferno (16-11) in the upper bracket-final. While Sprout now have some time to prepare and practice before the grand final, ALTERNATE aTTaX will have to fight for survival in the Consolidation final where they will face the winner of NLG vs. ttc.

Fritz “slaxz-“ Dietrich finished on top of the scoreboard with an impressive 69-37 score and a rating of 1.44, while ALTERNATE aTTaX’s Kevin “kRYSTAL” Amend finished on the bottom with a rating of 0.72.

Sprout have officially returned to a German line-up after announcing the signing of Fritz “slaxz-“ Dietrich and Marko “kressy” Dordevic to complete their roster. After snatchie and dycha were placed on the transfer list early in December, the German organization began the work to build up a German roster following a failed bid to qualify for ESL Pro League.

The new addition has been top priority for Sprout since late last year when both players stated that they would not be renewing their contracts with ALTERNATE aTTaX which they had been playing for since the beginning of 2019.

Sprout have laso expanded their coaching staff by signing Jan “Jansen” Westerheide, who is a former Team analyst of BIG Academy.

kressy and company are set to return to action with their new roster on January 17 at ESL Meisterschaft.

The German organization announced on Twitter, that they have parted ways with Michał "⁠snatchie⁠" Rudzki.

Both "snatchie" and "dycha" were placed on the transfer list early in December. Rumours have speculated in a pure German lineup for the future with two ALTERNATE aTTaX players as replacements. Marko "⁠kressy⁠" Đorđević and Fritz "⁠slaxz-⁠" Dietrich have both rejected a renewal of their contract at ALTERNATE aTTax and seems to be the top priority at Sprout.

Last week Sabit "mirbit" Coktasar announced that he was not going to renew his contract with ALTERNATE aTTaX. Yesterday Marko "⁠kressy⁠" Đorđević did the same.

Today a third player from the roster has announced his departure. This time it is Fritz "⁠slaxz-⁠" Dietrich.

- I won't renew my contract with Alternate aTTaX - but I‘m looking back at two really beautiful years in CS and my life. I couldn't have asked for a better team to start my professional career with and I will be forever grateful that Alternate made this possible for me - after only one season in the first division of Germany, where they bought me out of a difficult contract. I wish them nothing but the best for the future and I am sure, we will meet again on our upcoming paths to success. I also wish all my teammates success in whatever comes next for them, I really love all of you, the German player writes in a TwitLonger post.

ALTERNATE aTTax are down to two players at the end of the month.

Marko "kressy" Đorđević won't be extending his contract with the organization as he seeks to leave in order to pursue his goals elsewhere. The 24-year-old was the second player to announce their leave from the roster, as Sabit "mirbit" Coktasar said his goodbyes with the organization and roster last week. "Kressy" announced his departure in a post on Twitter: 

Whilst he has not yet confirmed a new roster, he is reportedly on Sprouts' wishlist. According to dbltap.com both "kressy" and his former teammate Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich is being regarded as possible replacements for Paweł "dycha" Dycha and Michał "snatchie" Rudzki who have parted way with the German organization. 

Whether or not this transfer will happen is uncertain, but they are seemingly a great fit for the lacking roster of Sprout. 

The Germans from ALTERNATE aTTaX took down Heretics in confident style. A strong performance from the German duo in Fritz “slaxz” Dietrich and Stefan “stFN” Seier helped ALTERNATE aTTaX to take home a 2-0 victory.

K23 was just as dominant in their matchup against Project X. The former Syman Gaming team dismantled a tame Project X side beating them 2-0 through solid showings on both Nuke (16-9) and Overpass (16-10).

According to dbltap.com, the organization is looking to create a full German roster for the future. Favorites to join the team are Fritz "slaxz" Dietrich and Marko "kressy" Đorđević from ALTERNATE aTTaX replacing Pawel "dycha" Dycha and Michael "snatchie" Rudzki.

Sprout peaked at the world ranking on 28th of September as number 16.
