Everything is on the line for G2 at the early elimination match against the Brazilians from Fluxo.

Both teams lost yesterday and will need a win to stay alive at BLAST Fall Finals. The winner will advance to the Quarter-Finals tomorrow.

It’s soon time for the Pick’em Challenge. When released, you can find the Pick'em Challenge inside of CS:GO, where you can buy a viewer pass for the 2023 CS:GO Major in Paris. The first stage of a CS:GO Major is called a Challenge Stage. Here 16 teams fight for the eight spots in the Legends Stage, where the highest-ranked teams await.

In CS:GO Pick’ems, your job is to find a team going 3-0, and another team going 0-3 in the Challengers Stage. Then you pick seven teams to advance to the next stage. You only need five correct answers to complete the task. And this is important.

The easiest job is to pick the 0-3 team. Here a couple of teams stand out. At the last Major, both Grayhound and The MongolZ (IHC back then) ruined everybody’s pick by winning a game. So this time around we will stay away from the two teams and instead choose Fluxo. The Brazilian team qualified by beating yur, BESTIA, and Paquetá in what seems like one of the easiest routes to the Major. Fluxo however lose on a regular basis to teams ranked higher than themselves including paiN Gaming, who they will face in the opening round. We believe Fluxo to be a good pick for the 0-3 spot. 

Our 3-0 pick is a little more complicated. We don’t want to waste one of the teams, that we are sure will qualify. Our 3-0 pick will instead be used on a team that could either upset everyone or possibly go out. We think Monte should be considered in this category. The Ukrainian roster won both their bo1 games in the stacked EU RMR Group B (they won against ENCE and Cloud9), and could be a decent shout for the 3-0 pick. But the roster can also lose to teams such as HEET, so our pick could go south very quickly.

That leaves us with seven picks for teams that we think will qualify. It doesn’t matter if they go 3-0, 3-1, or 3-2 in matches won.

FaZe and G2 should go through no matter what despite the disappointment of the last Major (G2 didn’t even qualify). Team Liquid is also a very solid pick to advance. Ninjas in Pyjamas might not be at their best, but they still have a decent bottom level. ENCE has looked very shaky but did perform very well at the last big tournament at ESL Pro League. We give them the benefit of the doubt. We rate paiN Gaming as the second-best team from the Americas in this group and could see them sneak their way through. The last team on our list is OG. Somehow OG has made it work with Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen as their in-game leader. The firepower of degster and flameZ can carry them a long way, and they round off our list.

Allan 'history' Lawrenz is a Fluxo player. The 18-year-old AWPer history will be replacing Lucas "lux" Meneghini who will be benched for the upcoming season. 

History played under the ARCTIC banner for almost a year before joining Fluxo. The Brazilian talent was averaging 1.19 Rating / 1.15 Impact / 73.7 ADR / 0.77 KPR in 2022. The fast and consistent AWPer will help Fluxo to reach new highest as the team will look to get inside the top 30 on the HLTV world ranking list. Fluxo is currently ranked number #33 on the list but peaked back in December 2022 as number #26 on the list.

Fluxo fell short of signing the young and talented AWPer Lucas "nqz" Soares who instead signed a deal with 00NATION. Fluxo is already negotiating with another AWPer, and the target is now Allan "history" Lawrenz, the team has already made a proposal for the players which also have been accepted by ARCTIC according to [link:{"url":"https://www.dust2.com.br/noticias/32978/fluxo-faz-proposta-e-arctic-aceita-vender-history","isNewTab":true,"text":"Dust2.br"}]. 

Fluxo stated that they need an AWPer going forward into 2023. The new reinforcement would occupy lux and WOOD7 would instead become a rifle for the squad in the new season. In addition, the team is also negotiating with Wilton "zews" Prado to replace Willian "Xamp" Caldas as coach in the upcoming season. 

If all the negotiations go as planned for the Fluxo side, The team will look as follows:

João "felps" Vasconcellos and the rest of Fluxo are reportedly looking to make changes to their roster going into 2023. nqz has, despite his modest age of 17 years, managed to make a name for himself in the South American region as being one of the most promising and interesting AWPers.

World number 26 on the HLTV world ranking list Fluxo took down Sharks doing the final at CCT South America Series 3. The Brazilian team takes yet another victory as this is their third in 2022. 

The favorites had a tough time doing the first map as Sharks took Dust2 and the lead in the series. 1-0 up was the underdogs who still needed one map to take the victory and the tournament win, but suddenly Lucaozy stepped up and took the heavy lift on his shoulders. Lucas 'Lucaozy' Neves and co. ended up taking both Vertigo and Mirage to take their third CCT South America victory in 2022.

Natus Vincere handed the only Brazilian squad in the BLAST Premier Fall Finals event a 2-0 loss this Wednesday. With the victory, NAVI goes through to the Upper final where they will take upon the winner of Liquid vs. G2, while Fluxo will have to fight for their tournament lives in the Lower final against the loser of the match.

The action started on Fluxo’s map pick of Dust2, where the Brazilians showed up with some good attacks early on. But against a team like NAVI, it’s not just enough to start off the round well as s1mple and company always make sure to stay on their front foot, even in the toughest situations. NAVI took the first half with an 8-7 scoreline, but the Brazilian squad turned it into 8-11 in their favor by taking control of the game on the CT-side. From here, NAVI fought their way back on the scoreboard and tied the game at 12-12, before the two teams traded rounds back and forth, with s1mple and company eventually closing out things 16-14 in the end.

On Mirage, the second map and last map of the series, Fluxo kicked off things on the right foot and took a 4-2 lead on the CT-side. However, mistakes by the Brazilians ended up costing them the lead, as NAVI turned the score around and started to dominate the half, storming to a 10-5 advantage. The Brazilians hoped to turn the tables on the attacking side after winning the pistol, but unfortunately for them, NAVI’s retakes were on point and the Ukrainian-Russian squad made it impossible for Fluxo to add more than two rounds to the scoreboard before s1mple closed out the series with a stellar 1v2 clutch.

Before the start of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown North America not many would have pointed towards Fluxo as the favorites to win the entire thing.

Yet, it was exactly what happened with the Brazilian underdogs outclassing strong teams like Complexity, Evil Geniuses, 00Nation and MIBR, who all have a higher ranking than Fluxo.

After the impressive Grand Final victory Sunday night over MIBR, Fluxo’s João “fepls” Vasconcellos took his time speaking with BLAST’s James Banks stating that there’s more to come for the newly-formed team.

- I’m feeling very good because it’s so hard to create one team and then try to beat the likes of MIBR, 00Nation, paiN and 9z with a little bit of time. So, I’m feeling very good – but I think we can look better for the future because we have good players with great potential on this team.

The current Fluxo squad was formed only in August this year with the signing of felps, Lucaozy, lux, v$m, and the in-game leader WOOD7. Yesterday’s win at BLAST Fall Showdown means that the Brazilians are heading to Copenhagen later this year to compete at the top-tier BLAST Fall Final. The $450.000 tournament is set to be played in the massive Royal Arena and will feature teams like FaZe, Liquid, and NAVI.

After defeating MIBR 2-1 in the grand final of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2022 NA, Fluxo have secured a spot in the BLAST Fall Finals, which will be their first top-tier event together as a team. The Brazilian squad completes the team list of 8 teams who all will fight for the lion’s share of the $425.000 prize pool at the end of November in Copenhagen, Denmark.

vsm and company don’t have a Major to look forward to as they missed out on qualifying for the Americas RMR, but now they have secured themselves a chance to compete against some of the best teams in the world in Royal Arena.

The new lineup from Fluxo has had an incredible start since its inception in August. Adriano "⁠WOOD7⁠" Cerato, Vinicius "⁠vsm⁠" Moreira, João "⁠felps⁠" Vasconcellos, Lucas "⁠Lucaozy⁠" Neves, and Lucas "⁠lux⁠" Meneghini took down Evil Geniuses in the opening round of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown, and continued the success against 00Nation.

On Ancient and Mirage Fluxo won all halves to comfortably win the match with João 'felps' Vasconcellos and Lucas 'Lucaozy' Neves leading the pack.

MIBR copied Fluxo and also won 2-0 in their Semi-Final against Sharks. On Vertigo it started out badly for Sharks. On their own map pick they went down 4-11 at the break and could not answer back in the second half. On Nuke Sharks came out strong, but could not produce enough T rounds in the second half to force the match to the decider map. Jhonatan 'JOTA' Willian was the hero for MIBR, who can enjoy some much-needed succes with a win in the Grand Final against Fluxo.

MIBR and Fluxo face each other tonight at 22.30 (CEST).

There will be a Brazilian team qualified for BLAST Fall Finals in the Royal Arena in Copenhagen. That was made a fact last night, when Fluxo and 00Nation eliminated Evil Geniuses and VERTEX from the North American qualifiers.

The two teams followed in the footsteps of Sharks and MIBR, who yesterday eliminated Complexity and TeamOne from the tournament.

Fluxo's 2-1 win against Evil Geniuses came as a big surprise after the North Americans had had such a good RMR tournament. EG lost 16-8 on Nuke in the decider map, which prompted coach Daniel "Vorborg" Vorborg to tweet an apology to the fans of Evil Geniuses.

Later today the two Semi-Finals will determine who will be ready for Sunday's Grand Final.
