Finest set to leave CS:GO
The Israeli organization is set to leave CS:GO as they don't see their future playing out as a Counter-Strike team.
Finest did not achieve an awful lot while playing CS:GO, with their top peek at the HLTV world Ranking list is a #55 spot. The roster and Finest played their last game in late September, losing 0-2 to the Russian forZe.
The oganaziation has issused the following statement:“It is with a heavy heart, but after nearly two years of successful esports operations and building up of the Finest brand and community, we are shutting down our professional esports operations.
This was not something we foresaw happening a couple of weeks back but rather one that was forced on us after key investors backed out of making further investments into the company. This was all due to macro-economic situations the world is presently facing and the fact that owning an esports team is still a very speculative investment.”
Finest were:
Simon "twist" Eliasson
Niclas "PlesseN" Plessen
Rasmus "kreaz" Johansson
Kristjan "shokz" Jakobson
Olek "hades" Miskiewicz
Jędrzej "Bogdan" Rokita (coach)
Where these players will be playing in the future is yet to be decided, for now, they are all free agents on the CS:GO market.
