Turkish sniper saves the day for Cloud9
In the Quarter-Finals at Nine to Five Season 7, Cloud9 struggled against PACT.
Polish team PACT showed good resilience and some fine Counter-Strike to force Cloud9 into a tight Quarter-Final at the Nine to Five tournament.
The Poles came to the match with three straight wins and started Nuke by winning their CT-side with 10-5 putting pressure on the tournament favorites.
The two Englishmen William "mezii" Merriman and Alex "ALEX" McMeekin delivered consistently for Cloud9 through the map and was responsible for the comeback, which ultimately resulted in a 16-12 win on Nuke.
PACT picked Overpass as map 2. Again the Poles started the map best. Dawid "lunAtic" Cieślak was putting in good numbers for the Poles, who once again though could see their opponents catching up.
At 12-12 PACT won a crucial round after some great CS from both sides.
PACT ended winning Overpass with 16-12.
Inferno was left as the decider. This time Cloud9 came out firing from the start. Özgür "woxic" Eker was lethal with his AWP leaving no chance for PACT on their T-side. The Turkish sniper made 19 kills with the AWP in the first half alone!
Cloud9 won Inferno with 16-10, with woxic netting 31 kills and an average damage per round of amazing 115.8! The Turkish player also ended the match with a kill.
In the Semi-Finals the "Colossus" will face forZe, who won their match against ex-ETHEREAL 2-0.
