Legacy bench n1ssim and bring in ksloks for the Singapore Major

A day after their PGL Masters Bucharest exit, the Brazilians turn to a 21-year-old free agent for IEM Beijing, BLAST Rivals and the PGL Major Singapore.

Legacy have moved Vinicius “n1ssim” Pereira to the bench and promoted Italo “ksloks” Meinberg to the starting lineup until the end of the season. The change was first reported by Dust2 Brasil on Wednesday morning, and the club confirmed it on X less than half an hour later. Neither Legacy nor n1ssim have given a reason.

The new lineup is arT, dumau, latto, try and ksloks. According to Dust2 Brasil, ksloks will play IEM Beijing, BLAST Rivals 2026 Season 2 and the PGL Major Singapore, with his debut at IEM Beijing on 2 November. Legacy open that event against The MongolZ, the team that ended their run in Bucharest on Tuesday.

A second exit in one year

It is the second time in 2026 that n1ssim has left Legacy’s lineup at short notice. After Legacy’s Stage 3 exit at the IEM Cologne Major in June, the 25-year-old asked to be moved to the bench. He came back 24 days later, on 9 July, while Legacy were still looking at replacements, among them insani. In August he gave Dust2 Brasil part of the reason, in Portuguese.

To be honest, I was waiting for some changes that ended up not happening when I was on the team.

His return was followed by the best stretch of Legacy’s autumn. They finished third at the Esports World Cup in August and won FISSURE Playground 3 in September with a 3-0 final against G2. The results since have gone the other way. arT, the in-game leader, missed ESL Pro League Season 24 through illness, and Legacy went out at 12th to 14th place there, 5th to 6th at the Thunderpick World Championship and 12th to 14th at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, where they lost 2-0 to The MongolZ in their final match. A year earlier, Legacy had reached the final of the same event and lost it 3-2 to Aurora.

What n1ssim gave Legacy

n1ssim joined Legacy in January 2025 and was part of every trophy they won in 2026: the BetBoom RUSH B Summit in April, the CS Asia Championships in May and FISSURE Playground 3. Across 180 maps in 2026 he went 2,434-2,412, a +22 K-D, with 68.3 ADR and 72.1% KAST. Those are the numbers of a rifler who held positions rather than opened rounds. He took 280 opening kills and gave up 299 opening deaths.

October was harder. Over Pro League, the Thunderpick World Championship and Bucharest, he went 363-392. In Bucharest itself he was not the problem. He finished 37-33 in the overtime win over DENDELE and 27-26 against The MongolZ, both positive scores in a week when arT went 20-34 in the decisive match. After the opening defeat to Nemiga and a sweep by Liquid, Legacy won two of the eight maps they played.

Who ksloks is

ksloks is a Brazilian rifler who came through RUSH Youngsters and Sharks Youngsters before spending two years with ODDIK. His biggest event with them was PGL Astana 2025, after a 3-2 win over Imperial in the South American qualifier, where ODDIK finished ninth to 11th. ODDIK benched him in April 2026, and the two sides ended his contract by mutual agreement in July.

He has stayed busy since. With Turma do Pagode he won CCT South America 2026 Series #6 and the second Cup of ESL Challenger League Season 52 in South America in September and October. He also knows his new teammates from the other side of the server: ODDIK lost 2-1 to Legacy at FERJEE In House in March. Dust2 Brasil and HLTV both report that Legacy had already registered him as a substitute in case arT was out again.

The Major is not at risk

The change does not touch Legacy’s place in Singapore. They are ninth in Valve’s Regional Standings and second among teams from the Americas, and HLTV’s VRS calculator had their Major place clinched even before the defeat to The MongolZ. The roster that counts is set at Valve’s snapshot on 2 November, and Valve’s model only lists players who have played five of a team’s last ten matches. Valve confirmed this week how it treats a player who turns up on two invited rosters. Dust2 Brasil writes that because ksloks will not play for Legacy before the cut, n1ssim will still receive the team’s Major stickers.

That leaves Legacy three events before the end of the year to make the change work. It starts with a rematch against The MongolZ in Group A in Beijing.
