dev1ce officially returns to competition after break, Astralis confirms
The superstar AWPer will make his return to the lineup going into an important 2025 season for the Danish squad.
Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz is back on the server and ready to jump into the action for Astralis, the organization announced in a statement on Monday.
The 29-year-old star AWPer has been on a brief hiatus from competition due to health issues, which forced him to withdraw from the Shanghai Major RMR last month.
Now, fully recovered, dev1ce rejoins the lineup as Astralis gears up for the 2025 season.
- We're thrilled to announce that dev1ce is officially returning to the team. After taking time to focus on his physical and mental well-being, dev1ce is now fully ready to rejoin the team and bring his remarkable skillset, knowledge and commitment back to the server, Astralis wrote in a statement this Monday.

The 22-year-old rifler has been part of the team since February but was benched in September to make way for Casper “cadiaN” Møller. br0 returned briefly last month to stand in for dev1ce during the Major qualifier in Shanghai but is now free to explore new opportunities.
