B1ad3 on donk: I don’t think it’s hard to counter him
The NAVI head coach believes that the Spirit teenager will be limited when facing a team that can challenge his mechanics.
It’s fair to say that Danil "donk" Kryshkovets is the talk of the town in Counter-Strike right now. The Spirit phenomenon has taken over CS2 by storm and is currently proving his worth at one of the highest stages of the game: IEM Katowice.
In a recent interview with HLTV, Andrij "B1ad3" Ghorodensjkyj, the head coach of NAVI, also spoke highly of the Russian rifler. However, B1ad3 mentioned that donk still lacks good decision-making, stating that “he’s not hard to counter.”
- I think he's individually really good, mechanically speaking he's good. Not in terms of experience for sure, like decision-making. I think he's doing aggressive plays, impulsive decisions, and it works for him in CS2 really well because you can swing and always have an advantage, you're running and people are supporting you from behind, or somebody is running in front of you sometimes, B1ad3 said to HLTV and continued:
- That's for sure his main strength. He's running and aiming really, really sharp. I don't think it's hard to counter him. I think if he faces a really strong team who challenges him aim-wise, in that case, the other guy with experience have more effective decision-making.
