Astralis reportedly edging closer to securing stavn and Jabbi
It looks like a potential deal between the two rival teams is on the horizon.
Martin “stavn” Lund and Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard are nearing a blockbuster move to Astralis, HLTV revealed in a report on Tuesday.
According to the media outlet, Astralis have closed in on an agreement with Heroic to buy the two profiled riflers out of their contracts. That frees stavn and jabbi from enduring a lengthy period on the Heroic bench, where they will be out of competition.
All though a potential confirmation of the deal seems to be on the horizon, Astralis won’t be able to showcase their new superstar roster on home soil at the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Final in Copenhagen.
Who will they replace?
With Astralis fielding a fully-equipped lineup at the moment, it means that the signings of stavn and jabbi will have to require some sacrifices. But who?
From the outside, there can only be three options with star AWPer Nicolai “device” Reedtz and in-game leader Benjamin “blameF” Bremer being untouchable at this moment in time.
That leaves a trio of Johannes "b0RUP" Borup, Victor "Staehr" Staehr, and Christian "Buzz" Andersen in danger of losing their seat at the table.
