cadiaN out! Heroic reveal shock decision to bench long-standing captain
The 28-year-old In-game leader is set to leave the Norweigan organization due to "differing visions for the future of the team”.
A highly-unexpected roster update has hit the Counter-Strike world this Wednesday evening with Heroic announcing the benching of their long-standing captain and in-game leader Casper “cadiaN” Møller.
In a statement, Heroic revealed that it was a “mutual decision” between the two parties to part ways now and that it was due to “differing visions for the future of the team”.
Regarding his future, cadiaN spoke with Dexerto for an interview, where he explained that he still has a lot to prove in Counter-Strike and that he knows what he can bring to the table for potential teams.
- I believe that a lot of the things we have done correctly in Heroic I can transfer to the next place I’m going to,” cadiaN said. “I know I can bring the five percent that other teams need to win, cadiaN said to Dexerto and continued:
- I have my ideas of which teams I could instantly make better and which teams could, or should, potentially consider involving me. But at the end of the day, it’s not up to me to decide which teams are interested in me.
