The group phase of BLAST Open Rotterdam has officially wrapped up, and the servers have barely cooled down from the absolute clinics put on by the world’s best. As we look ahead to the playoffs, the statistical leaderboards paint a vivid picture of who is currently in peak form.
At the very top, an all-too-familiar battle for the throne is unfolding between two generational talents, while some fresh and steady faces round out the top tier.
Vitality’s Triple Threat
If the stats are anything to go by, Vitality completely bulldozed their group. Having played only 6 maps and 130 rounds, they were highly efficient, and their roster makes up three of the top ten spots.
Leading the charge is ZywOo, who sits at the absolute pinnacle with a staggering 1.62 Rating and a +60 K/D difference. Right behind him is his teammate flameZ, boasting a phenomenal 1.56 Rating. With ropz also slotting into the top ten (1.16 Rating), Vitality is looking like an unstoppable, well-oiled machine heading into the bracket stage.
The donk Show Continues
Team Spirit’s donk continues to defy logic. While ZywOo edges him out by a mere 0.01 in the rating department, donk put up his 1.61 Rating over a longer stretch of 8 maps and 166 rounds. What makes this even more spectacular is that donk remains this high in the rankings after Spirit was eliminated last night by The MongolZ. Despite his team losing two of their four games at the event, the young star secured the highest K-D difference of the tournament so far at +63. He remains the ultimate entry-fragging nightmare for opposing defenses, even in defeat.
NAVI’s New Star and KSCERATO’s Heavy Lifting
Natus Vincere fans have plenty to smile about, with makazze breaking into the top four with a stellar 1.33 Rating, closely followed by his teammate iM (1.24).
Meanwhile, KSCERATO deserves a massive shoutout. FURIA had to grind through 10 maps and 228 rounds, the second most of any player on this list, and KSCERATO still managed to maintain an elite 1.27 Rating (+43 K/D diff), once again proving he is the bedrock of the Brazilian squad.
