Donk looked visibly frustrated throughout the second and decider map against the Mongolians, head in hands.

Spirit as a whole underperformed, especially zweih and chopper, who only had around 50 ADR each across the deciding series at Chengdu. Sh1ro stood out as the only positive, as donk also had a dropoff compared to his stellar 2025. This was the worst-rated LAN event for donk in 2025, with a 1.20 rating.

Team Spirit fell in the deciding match of Group A at IEM Chengdu. TheMongolZ removed their star player Senzu weeks before this event, while Spirit made the star signing of tN1R, but have failed to produce results since.

Against FaZe Clan with a stand in at the most recent ESL Pro League, Spirit got shut out 2-0. This time, they were defeated 2-0 by Team Falcons and met theMongolZ in the lower backet final after edging out HEROIC.

The back-and-forth second map went to overtime, when chopper missed an AK spray against a planting 910 to give the Mongolians match point. Spirit still managed to take it to a decider, but were shut out 13-6 on the decider, Mirage.
