Team Spirit has advanced to the semifinals at the BLAST Premier World Final with a stunning 2-0 victory over FaZe, ending the tournament run for Finn “karrigan” Andersen and his squad.
Spirit will now face Astralis in what promises to be an intense semifinal showdown.
The series began with Spirit claiming FaZe’s map pick of Mirage, securing a solid 13-10 victory. However, the real drama unfolded on Anubis, where both teams battled fiercely in a back-and-forth clash, pushing the map to double overtime.
After 36 rounds, Spirit emerged victorious with a series of clutch rounds to close out the map 19-17.
