MOUZ has defeated their demon, Team Vitality, picking up their first win in their lop-sided rivalry.
Team Vitality, major champions and Intel Grand Slam winners, have fallen to MOUZ in the semi-final of IEM Cologne 2025.
MOUZ will go on to face Team Spirit in the grand final tomorrow, while Vitality sees their 37-series streak broken, the longest in CS:GO/CS2 history. Their star, ZywOo, logged his worst-rated series of 2025.
The great favorites had a positive start on MOUZ’s map pick of Mirage, until their economy got broken in the 9th round.
However, it was ropz to deny MOUZ a good starting half with an ace, wielding nothing but a five-seven and a picked up AK-47 defending A.
The half ended 8-4 in favor of Vitality, with only torzsi going positive for MOUZ to bring them their rounds.
MOUZ bring back Mirage; Vitality crumble on offense
Despite only managing 4 T rounds, the young international side brought the whole map back in the second half.
MOUZ ran away with every round, besides ropz’s 1v3 clutch to once again deny MOUZ a clean half. However, that was the only round that Vitality got in the second half, with no player having above a 0.73 rating on the T-side.
xertioN carried MOUZ on the defense, managing 16 kills, 6 of them openings, and 170 ADR.
ZywOo was notably absent, putting up an 8-20 K/D and a 0.53 rating, his lowest of 2025.
On Vitality’s map pick, it was a strong start for them, until MOUZ replied with an eco win in the third round.
It was a back and forth half, with MOUZ getting the better of it by the end. ZywOo remained quiet along with flameZ, who managed only 5 kills between them.

Despite winning the pistol round, Vitality immediately lost an eco round against xertioN and Spinx’s 2v5.
From there, it was smooth sailing as MOUZ didn’t lose a single round in reaching match point.
Vitality made a late-stage comeback but MOUZ closed the series, defeating their nemesis after losing 7 matches in a row against them.
It was a nightmare for flameZ, who got only a single kill across Train.
