The BLAST.tv Austin Major is just around the corner, with the prestigious event set to kick off tomorrow. But before the action begins, it’s worth looking back at the standout performers of the year so far.
Counter-Strike analyst Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenberg has shared his personal ranking of the top 21 players in 2025.
Leading the way is Vitality’s Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, with Spirit’s Danil “donk” Kryshkovets close behind at #2. The list also includes many of the expected names like ropz, m0NESY, and sh1ro — but also features some surprises.
One notable inclusion is Vitality’s in-game leader Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, who makes the cut at #19.
