Anubis removed: Who are the biggest losers?

Several top teams are set to take a hit from Valve's decision to remove Anubis.

Late Tuesday night, Valve dropped a significant CS2 update, bringing Overpass back into the competitive map pool just ahead of IEM Cologne.

That change comes at the expense of Anubis, which now exits the Active Duty Pool nearly three years after its introduction in November 2022.

So, who stands to lose the most from this update?

While Anubis wasn’t among the most picked maps in tier-one play, several top teams had built it into their core map pool and consistently delivered strong results on it.

Looking at the performance on the server over the past 12 months, Liquid, Aurora, and Spirit are arguably the ones taking the hardest hit.

Each of them posted strong team ratings on Anubis, also being the only ones to present a positive win rate on the map. Take a look at the best-performing teams down below:
