In-game replays arrive for custom matches
The long-awaited replay system is finally making its debut in Valorant Patch 12.00. For now, the feature is limited to Custom Swiftplay and Standard matches. This is a huge win for teams wanting to review their strategies or for creators looking to capture cinematic shots. Party leaders can choose to record the match directly through the custom lobby settings before the game starts.
Major agent buffs for Breach and Harbor
Several agents are getting significant power bumps to help them compete in the current meta. Breach and Harbor are the clear winners of this update, receiving buffs that make their utility much more punishing for enemies.
- Breach: His Flashpoint projectile speed is up by 20%, making it harder to dodge. The width of Fault Line has also been widened to 8 meters for better coverage.
- Harbor: His Storm Surge no longer requires line of sight to nearsight enemies, and the slow duration on both Storm Surge and Reckoning has been tripled to 2 seconds.
- Tejo: While his Special Delivery now deals actual explosive damage, his Stealth Drone radius was cut down to 16 meters to keep his scouting balanced.
- Vyse: Steel Garden is now larger, with an increased radius of 28 meters and a wider path to help lock down sites more reliably.
The massive Breeze map rework is live
Breeze has returned to the competitive pool, and it is almost unrecognizable. Riot has overhauled the map to fix the “open space” problem that players have complained about for years. To help everyone adjust to the new layout without the stress of losing rank, Riot is reducing RR losses on Breeze by 50% for the first two weeks of the season.
| Map Change | Old Feature | New Feature |
| A Halls | Long flanking corridor | Completely blocked off |
| Mid Pillar | Open on both sides | One side closed with cover |
| B Site Walls | Low visibility walls | Taller walls for better defense |
| Map Pool | Sunset in pool | Breeze in, Sunset out |

Introducing the Bandit precision sidearm
The arsenal is expanding with the Bandit, a new 600-credit pistol that sits right between the Ghost and the Sheriff. It is a high-skill weapon designed for players who want that one-tap headshot potential on a budget. With an 8-round magazine and a quick 1.5-second reload, it is the perfect tool for stealing eco rounds if your aim is on point.
New limited time mode All Random One Site
If you want a break from the serious tactical grind, the new All Random One Site (AROS) mode is pure chaos. In this 5-v-5 mode, your agent changes every single round, and you only fight over one randomized bomb site. There is no economy to worry about—you just pick your guns, and your abilities recharge throughout the round. It is a fast-paced way to practice different agents and constant site executes.
Player behavior and competitive integrity updates
Riot is getting much stricter with how they handle toxic behavior and account security. EU players at Ascendant rank or higher are now required to use multi-factor authentication (MFA) via Riot Mobile to queue for competitive matches. This is a direct move to stop account sharing and boosting in high-level lobbies.
There is also a new Behavior Standing indicator on your social panel. This lets you see exactly where your account stands and warns you if you are at risk of a chat or game ban. The new Community Pact is also live, and every player will need to recommit to playing fair and with respect when they first log in after the patch.

FAQ: Valorant 12.00 patch notes
Is the replay system available in ranked yet?
No, for the launch of Patch 12.00, replays are only available for Custom Standard and Swiftplay matches. Riot is using this phase to test stability before a wider release.
How much does the Bandit cost?
The Bandit costs 600 credits. This makes it a great middle-ground choice during pistol rounds or when you are on a “thrifty” buy.
Why am I losing less RR on Breeze?
Because the Breeze rework is so massive, Riot is giving players a two-week safety net. You will only lose 50% of the normal RR for a loss, but you still get 100% of the gain for a win.
What happened to the map Sunset?
Sunset has been rotated out of the Competitive and Deathmatch queues to make room for the return of Breeze. It is still available in Unrated and other casual modes.
