HLTV Fantasy Guide: Season top-1% picks for BLAST Bounty 2025 S2 Finals

I finished in the top 1% of Fantasy Season Fall 2024 and Spring 2025, and I’m here to help you lock in the sharpest lineup for the BLAST Bounty S2 Finals.

The BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2 – Finals bring eight teams to Malta for a four-day, single-elimination playoff (Aug 14–17). Quarter- and semi-finals are best-of-three; the title match is best-of-five. The $500,000 LAN closes out the Season 2 circuit and uses BLAST’s bracket-draft twist – lower-ranked teams pick their quarter-final opponents, which adds volatility (and opportunity) for Fantasy players.

HLTV runs a dedicated Fantasy game for this event. A Fantasy game that consist of picking different players, hoping to hit the hardest hitters and biggest winners.

The wOo Carry Lineup

ZywOo is the ultimate stat pick, as Vitality’s star AWPer he brings a rock-solid floor and a tournament-winning ceiling multi-kills, clutches and elite K-D. The catch is his premium price, which squeezes your budget and pushes the rest of your roster into the mid/bargain tier where volatility spikes. He also hoovers up so much round impact that stacking too many Vitality teammates can cap their ceilings even in wins. If you lock him in, embrace the opportunity cost: surround him with stable value pieces (low-death anchors, roles that score steadily), add one contrarian rifler for upside, and use boosters that amplify his strengths. He’s a great investment – just make sure the four players around him aren’t afterthoughts.

Pairing ZywOo with the budget Aurora duo is one of the cleanest ways to balance ceiling and cost: MAJ3R can be one of the best fragging IGL, while jottAAA brings streaky but real pop-off potential. Their opener versus The MongolZ is no freebie, but Aurora have beaten them before.

With about $200,000 left, jimpphat is the standout spend – especially if you back MOUZ to edge a surging Astralis.

The Favorits Linup – Spreading the Economy

The safest way to approach this Fantasy round is to ride the favorites. This build leans on three IGLs, whose value is tightly linked to winning games – your points come when their teams convert.

flameZ has dipped in price while mezii has surged, making flameZ the second-cheapest way into a hard-hitting Vitality core; he’s also shown he can be a genuine difference-maker. apEX remains one of the most impactful IGLs in Fantasy, even topping the board at times on a title-contending lineup.

The big question mark is Spirit’s zont1x. His time at Spirit seems to come to an end, but that can cut both ways – he still has everything to play for, and I expect him to put in a strong shift.

If you want the low-variance, solid-finish route, this is the blueprint.

MOUZ – the Malta specialists and current world No. 2 have repeatedly shown up on Maltese soil. torzsi is one of the best-value ways to secure an AWPer with real pop-off potential, while Brollan hasn’t matched his old fragging output since taking on IGL duties, but the firepower is still there. They’re legitimate title contenders, though they open playoffs against a mature Astralis.

For Vitality, apEX and flameZ are the best value-for-money combo and should feast versus Liquid in the Quarterfinal, translating into plenty of team points.

If Aurora can get past The MongolZ, jottAAA becomes some of the best money spent this round – his K/D isn’t always pretty, but he racks up Fantasy value through entry duels and round-deciding impact.

I’m not keen on going all-in on donk or ZywOo; the opportunity cost drags down the rest of your roster. In playoff Fantasy, team points often swing the leaderboard, so balance beats star-chasing.
