To succeed in CS:GO and in sport in general, it's essential to have some good teammates. Teammates, who both can be your wingman but also a saving grace when you're in danger. Michał "snatchie" Rudzki from AGO is exactly that! 

In a match at Spring Sweet Spring 3 against MIBR, the Polish AWPer saw his teammate F1KU having problems down in pit. snatchie thought quickly and managed with his AWP to shoot a smoke down to his teammate, which ended being the rescue for F1KU.

When looking back in time and discussing the greats of Counter-Strike it would be wrong not to mention Virtus Pro. Besides their impressive ability to perform at the highest of levels they were also beloved by fans, not only in Poland but across the entire world of Counter-Strike fanatics.

The roster showed great signs of the pending success, even in the early stages, and managed to win their first Major in 2014, the year that they had been established as a roster, on their own home soil at EMS One Katowice 2014. With players such as "pasha" and "TaZ" the Virtus Pro roster became one of if not the most, beloved and charismatic roster the world of Counter-Strike has ever seen.

However, it wasn't all just a fairytale with a happy ending. Virtus Pro experienced some major slumps but always seemed to bounce back and reassert their dominance when it mattered the most. This was true for many years, but when 2017 came around and the roster had been performing under par for quite some time, people began to question whether or not this was the end of the Polish Giants. The answer was, unfortunately, yes. The iconic five-man roster split up and never reunited. For once they didn't bounce back but instead left the Counter-Strike scene with their names engraved deeply into its foundation.

The longest-serving member of the iconic Virtus Pro roster was the fan-favorite "pashaBiceps" who announced his retirement on Twitter on December 13th. 2018.

It has been quite some time since a Polish player has been in contention for the top 20 or has it? Whilst not being 100% Polish both Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski and Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski have the Polish blood in them and is perhaps one of the reasons for their impressive talent.

However, all hope is not lost just yet. The Polish roster of AGO has shown to be a stable contender for the top 30 and could perhaps be the roster to bring back some of the glory days for the Polish Counter-Strike scene. They are currently ranked as the best Polish roster at 37th. in the world, with their current best performing player being Michał "snatchie" Rudzki.

An interesting match in the match is between snatchie and dennyslaw, where it is going to be a great watch to see which of these two players will win the match in the match!

AGO got themselves a great start as the T side on Mirage when they met Entropiq, the Polish roster was leading 6-3, but ended up only winning the first half, 8-7 but a great start from AGO, who we know are great as the CT side on Mirage.

And they delivered in the second half as the CT side, they didn’t leave much space to the Russian as the T side, and they won the second half comfortably 8-3, which ended up being enough for AGO who won 16-10 on Mirage, after a great map from the Polish snatchie.

In the second map on Dust2, Entropiq rose from the shadows as the T side in the first half, where they demolished the defensive line from AGO to win the first half 10-5, to give themselves a comfortable lead into the second half on the legendary map.

The second half seemed to be a formality, as we know Entropiq is very strong on Dust2, and they proved they know just how to play as the CT side on the famous map as they didn’t lose a round in the second half, winning the half 6-0 and securing a 16-5 win on Dust2.

Therefore, a third map was needed, and the game was played on Nuke, which was a close affair.

The Russian side got themselves a fantastic start as they bulldozed through the defense from AGO, and won the first half 9-6.

In the second half, the Polish side fought bravely and got themselves a fantastic comeback!

They ended up winning the game 16-12 after winning the second half 10-3.

Situated in a near-impossible 1v3 situation against the strong Swedes from Ninjas in Pyjamas at Snow Sweet Snow 2, snatchie turns into a true CS:GO powerhouse by overpowering every NiP player on the server, to eventually grab the victory for his team.

At Snow Sweet Snow 2 four teams entered the tournament in the Quarter-Finals. Gambit, Sprout, Cloud9, and Ninjas in Pyjamas all got an invitation for the playoff stages, but none of them made it through.

The first team to leave the tournament was Sprout. Paired against HAVU, the Germans were steamrolled in two of the three maps, with the two former ENCE players Jani 'Aerial' Jussila and Sami 'xseveN' Laasanen in absolute top form.

In the second match of the day, Ninjas in Pyjamas could not bring down Michał 'snatchie' Rudzki, who was the big difference in the match for AGO. The Polish team took down the Swedes after three maps.

Cloud9 was the third team to be eliminated. The "Colossus" fell after a battle against the Russian team Winstrike. Again it was evident, that Cloud9 is missing a dedicated AWP'er on their team. Winstrike won after all three maps ended 16-10.

Lastly, it was time for the IEM Katowice winners from Gambit. In their first match since the huge triumph at Katowice, the Russian side faced Copenhagen Flames. The Danes were tipped as heavy underdogs, but it was quickly evident, that this was not going to be easy job for the Russians. 

On Vertigo Gambit took the expected win, but it came very close in the end with a good last push from Flames. On Train, the roles were reversed. Here Copenhagen Flames steamrolled the Russians in the first half and managed to stay calm in the second to claim the second map. 

Overpass was left as the decider. Again Copenhagen Flames came out firing and took the first half with 10-5. In the second half, the Danes completely outplayed the Russians and took home one of this year's most surprising victories by 16-10.

Copenhagen Flames advance to the Semi-Finals, which will be played Wednesday.

16 teams have been trimmed down to eight qualifiers for Snow Sweet Snow 2.

On the last day of the qualifiers, six teams were fighting for the last three tickets. 

There was both a Polish Derby and a Danish Derby among the three matches.

AGO managed to take down StylDunow in a Polish matchup, with the former Sprout player, Michał "snatchie" Rudzki in topform securing a 2-1 victory.

In Denmark Copenhagen Flames won their match against fellow Danes, Tricked. In the last match it was the team from Kazakhstan, 100PG, that secured the last ticket.

It has been a busy week on the office for the Polish team AGO, who now can present their third signing of the week. The Proud Polish organization has just announced the signing of 26-year old Karol "rallen" Rodowicz as the last member of their new 2021-roster. The transfer of rallen concludes a heavy roster renewal with the already confirmed signings of Michał "snatchie" Rudzki and Paweł "reatz" Jańczak.

The Polish side of AGO has just announced the signing of former Sprout player Michał “snatchie” Rudzki. This will be snatchie’s second spell at AGO, after spending over two years at Sprout and Virtus.pro. The 22-year old AWPer joins the likes of Maciej “F1KU” Miklas and Eryk “leman” Kocęba, in the rebuild of the proud Polish organization.

The German organization announced on Twitter, that they have parted ways with Michał "⁠snatchie⁠" Rudzki.

Both "snatchie" and "dycha" were placed on the transfer list early in December. Rumours have speculated in a pure German lineup for the future with two ALTERNATE aTTaX players as replacements. Marko "⁠kressy⁠" Đorđević and Fritz "⁠slaxz-⁠" Dietrich have both rejected a renewal of their contract at ALTERNATE aTTax and seems to be the top priority at Sprout.

Marko "kressy" Đorđević won't be extending his contract with the organization as he seeks to leave in order to pursue his goals elsewhere. The 24-year-old was the second player to announce their leave from the roster, as Sabit "mirbit" Coktasar said his goodbyes with the organization and roster last week. "Kressy" announced his departure in a post on Twitter: 

Whilst he has not yet confirmed a new roster, he is reportedly on Sprouts' wishlist. According to dbltap.com both "kressy" and his former teammate Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich is being regarded as possible replacements for Paweł "dycha" Dycha and Michał "snatchie" Rudzki who have parted way with the German organization. 

Whether or not this transfer will happen is uncertain, but they are seemingly a great fit for the lacking roster of Sprout.

Sprout announced the departure of the two Poles on their Twitter account.

- The reason I’ve decided to leave this roster was to find a new place for me, as I think it is the best time to get some fresh air and try something new. To clear up any of your doubts, my departure was made on a mutual agreement. The organisation decided to put me and snatchie on a transfer list and we will make sure to find a new place for me as soon as possible. I would like to thank every person from Sprout as they always took good care of me and helped with everything I needed."

Sprout took on Wisla Krakow in the lower bracket final where they managed to win the series 2-1 to go further in the tournament.

In the match against Wisla Krakow, snatchie secured the match victory with 4 AWP kills against his fellow Polish countrymen with only 30 seconds left of the round.

The current #18 in the World is contemplating making changes on their roster.

According to dbltap.com, the organization is looking to create a full German roster for the future. Favorites to join the team are Fritz "slaxz" Dietrich and Marko "kressy" Đorđević from ALTERNATE aTTaX replacing Pawel "dycha" Dycha and Michael "snatchie" Rudzki.

Sprout peaked at the world ranking on 28th of September as number 16.

Sprout started with a bang at the T-side and quickly made it 4-0 on their map pick, Mirage. The ingame leader for Heroic, cadiaN changed the pace in round 5, and lead his team to a win with three kills with the AWP. The Danish side took nine rounds in a row and finished the first half with a 10-5 lead.

The German team did manage to fight their way back in the second half, but the individual class of Heroic denied the comeback. In round 17 the 18-year old Martin “stavn” Lund stole the show with an ace.

On Train, it was suddenly all reversed. On Heroics map pick, it was the German team that dominated completely. Snatchie and faveN made it look easy, and Sprout won the first half convincingly 11-4. The German team managed to secure the second map with a 16-10 win.

The last map was Nuke. A map that both teams have had success with. Sprout had won their last 12 matches on the map, while Heroic has an 80% win rate.

Sprout started as the CT-side. For the first time in the match, both teams were winning rounds. As the map progressed the Danes showed, why there are currently ranked as the next best team in the world. Especially stavn showed his potential with a stellar performance with 30 kills during nuke. 

Heroic sealed the match with a 16-12 win on Nuke and will face BIG in the early match on Friday at 13.00 CEST.
