In the match between Caronte and GORILLAZ, Miikka 'suNny' Kemppi put himself in the spotlight with a rather unfortunate grenade.

On Dust2, two GORILLAZ players were trying to retake the A-bomb site. In the end, Niels Christian 'NaToSaphiX' Sillassen was the only player left alive on the server, but as he started the defuse a grenade thrown by Miikka 'suNny' Kemppi just before his death landed on top of the Danish player and eliminated him from the round.

Rekindling an old friendship between himself and "flusha" he has been signed up for the IEM Open Winter Qualifier for GORILLAZ. Whether or not he will become a permanent member of the organization is still unsure. 

With the news of "JW" leaving, fnatic fans might be left scratching their heads as they had just removed their other AWP'er within the roster in "Jackinho". This, of course, means that fnatic will seek to find the missing piece to their puzzle in a new AWP'er. Academy player Iulian "regali" Harjău will try to fill the big shoes of "JW" for the time being.  

The current fnatic roster looks as follows:

The Desert Eagle, otherwise known as the "Deagle", is one of Counter-Strike's most iconic weapons and a fan-favorite for many. Questions have been raised about the gun and if it is perhaps too powerful at the price of only $700. Whether or not you think that the weapon needs changing, one thing is for sure, it can be extremely deadly if used correctly by a skilled player. 

The Finnish rifler Miikka "suNny" Kemppi proved exactly this when he and his teammates from GORILLAZ faced the Sinners roster. Dancing around the B-bombsite, only wielding the Deagle, "suNny" managed to execute four opponents with nothing but headshots in a matter of seconds. GORILLAZ hold many great minds on the roster, with the team having both Robin "flusha" Rönnquist and Miikka "suNny" Kemppi in their player arsenal. The former Fnatic and mousesports veterans seem to lead the way on GORILLAZ, which may be a great idea due to their huge experience in CS:GO. 

In a match yesterday against Sinners, GORILLAZ took a hard eco on Overpass, where they afterwards literally ran into their own death. At first, it looked like a massive fail, but it was actually a very smart and rare play. One would maybe say that they should go for the win instead of losing the round on purpose, but it's still a quite innovative play. 

In a match at Elisa Invitational Fall 2021 Regionals between GORILLAZ and X Gamer, a very unusual and rare situation occurred. In a fierce round on the A-site on Inferno, where X Gamer had managed to kill the entire GORILLAZ and just had to defuse the bomb. There was only one problem - Robin "flusha" Rönnquist. Or more like the dead body of the Swede.

In April this year, the CS:GO world saw the rise of a new and promising roster called GORILLAZ, led by Robin "⁠flusha⁠" Rönnquist and Miikka "⁠suNny⁠" Kemppi. Besides the former mouz and fnatic profiles, the two experienced veterans brought in the likes of Jere "⁠sergej⁠" Salo, Rokas "⁠EspiranTo⁠" Milasauskas, and Niels Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen.

However, the time has come for NaToSaphiX who now has been dropped by the new team, flusha has announced on Twitter this Wednesday.

- Was an insanely good time with the Gorillaz-guys. Some of the nicest people I’ve met in esports for sure and will miss them all until next time They decided to search for a guy who is more “natural” in a rifle-role, something I am not yet as I was AWP most of my career, NaToSaphiX writes on Twitter.

NaToSaphiX looks forward to a new challenge following the departure from GORILLAZ, with the 24-year-old Dane expressing his desire to "start a new CS:GO journey" as an AWP + IGL or as a Rifler. The versatile player has previously represented strong teams like Heroic, mousesports and Sprout, where he showed promising abilities from time to time.

The newly established roster of GORILLAZ has removed Rokas "EspiranTo" Milasauskas from their active lineup, the 20-year-old confirms on Twitter. The former CR4ZY and c0ntact player is being axed after a 1-month tenure with flusha and company because he didn’t fit into the team’s role and playstyle.

EspiranTo is known for being a fierce and powerful rifler, however, at GORILLAZ, the Lithuanian hasn’t displayed exactly that. Throughout his 13 matches with the team, he averaged a 0.95 Rating, which is miles away from his all-time rating of 1.11.

- So yes I have been removed from the Gorillaz team, I couldn't adapt to the roles I was given and the playstyle we had and I underperformed heavily. I tried my best, but I guess some things are just not meant to be.

But in a positive side It's a good kick in the ass to start grinding even more. Best of luck to them, and thank you for the opportunity. And me, for now, will continue playing and improving and looking for other opportunities.

Yesterday’s matchup at Spring Sweet Spring 2 Regionals between GORILLAZ and SJ presented an absolute outrageous kill from Niels Christian “NaToSaphiX” Sillassen, which has found its way to our Pley of the Day.

The Dane and his teammate made a run boost on A-short of Dust2 which beautifully paid off. As NaToSaphiX was flying mid-air with his AK-47, he managed to kill his opponent by hitting him right in the face.

Spring Sweet Spring Regionals may not be a particularly big or prominent event, and the prize pool is "only" $32.000. However, the first group match game at Group C between Lilmix and GORILLAZ features no more than two iconic Counter-Strike legends. 

With Robin "flusha" Rönnquist from GORILLAZ and Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund playing as a stand-in for Lilmix, they reignite the fire from their many fierce battles at fnatic and Ninjas in Pyjamas.
