Betting on CS:GO is not a new thing. The past 3-4 years have been explosive – but the start was actually around 15 years ago.

In the mid-00’s the most innovative of the sportsbetting companies took betting on eSport on – as a natural development in the years that also saw the introduction and growth of online casino, online poker, and live betting. After the less successful start in the 00’s the interest – and success – rose up through the 10’s. The two main reasons for that has been the commercial growth of the online game CS:GO and the live coverage of the matches.
