After a period of being away from competitive CS:GO, Stewie2K has officially become a free agent. The former Evil Geniuses player announced the news on Twitter, expressing his gratitude to his former team for their support and time together.

Stewie2K also reflected on his time away from competitive gaming, stating that streaming has played a crucial role in regaining his bearings. He thanked his fans for their unwavering support throughout this period of time.

Despite being away from CS:GO for some time, Stewie2K has not ruled out a return to the game. He stated that his time spent grinding on Valorant has reignited his passion for competition and he is ready to compete at the highest level again.

“Being away from CS doesn’t mean I closed the doors,” Stewie2K said. “I’m ready to grind, always loved it, and if the time comes where I need to grind again and compete at the highest level I’m ready to do so.”
