siuhy: The pressure got to us
The young captain reflects on MOUZ's semifinal loss to Spirit and their Major campaign in Shangai.
MOUZ’s dream of reaching the Perfect World Shanghai Major Grand Final came to an end on Saturday as they fell 2-1 to Spirit in the semifinals.
After claiming victory on the opening map, MOUZ struggled to maintain their form, winning only 11 rounds across Ancient and Mirage combined.
It was therefore also a discouraged Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek who spoke with James Banks for a post-match interview.
- It’s a lot of disappointment right now.
- We couldn't stop them and the pressure got to us. We didn't play like we normally do. We could have played more aggressive, and we just didn’t show up to our potential today.
- I would say it’s still a disappointment [MOUZ's Major run]. Semifinal it is of course. But I think with the Counter-Strike we’ve been playing and how much effort we put into this game throughout these last months and weeks, we were aiming to win this Major. That was not the case, so I would describe it as a disappointment.
James Banks: Obviously there’s a lot of conversation around your roster coming into 2025, mainly about whether Jimpphat would stay in the team or not. Do you think this MOUZ roster will be the same we see in 2025?
- No comment, siuhy answered.
